Above The Line
Responsibility Ownership Acceptance Reflection
ROAR: Above the line
Always aim to be above the line - in all circumstances. This creates momentum for change, positive growth, trust and learning. ROAR loudly for success!
Some key beliefs:
•I am the creator of my wellbeing
•There are more than two possibilities or opinions
•I should question my thoughts and beliefs
•I already have authority, approval and security
•Being right is not the most important thing

BED: Below the line
Behaviour and beliefs that keep you below the line could be
• Combating (arguing, hostility),
• Minimising (playing impact or behaviour down),
• Generalising (simplifying, everybody does this),
• Externalising (attributing fault or responsibility to others; no-one told me; it’s not my job),
• Criticising (pointing out the fault , no trust, loop - nothing changes)
(I am a victim)
•Being right is the most important thing

BED: Are you stuck in BED going nowhere? Going backwards?
“I need to dig deep when I am below the line so I can push up above the line. My first instinct may be to BED, but I will have to work hard to ROAR”
