THE MUSIC SCENE
rusting your planner is an integral part f the planner/client relationship when it comes to music (and all things wedding!) Most band and DJ websites are generic and bands typically have unruly Youtube videos online that leave a lot to the imagination (mainly iPhone videos taken at a bar!) Anywhooooo just trust us You won’t be led astray We know who keeps people dancing, who doesn’t take set breaks (so annoying when they do!) and the bands and DJs that bring professionalism from the time you sign the contract to break down at the end of the night
“Do we hire a band or a DJ?” is a common question among our couples
Ask yourself, do you want your guests to have something unique and memorable? Having the right DJ or band can create the atmosphere you are lookiing for Are your guests more likely to groove to a funk band or a tried and true wedding band that plays a little of everything? If you are undecided on a style of music, a DJ or Band that plays a good mix might be right for you
DJ//
We encourage you to work closely with your DJ to ensure there is music that all of your guests will enjoy. We work with headliners from all over the US, regionally and locally depending on your needs and will suggest just the right fit for your wedding! You can expect to pay $2500-10,000 for the right DJ.
Band//
Ok, so we have worked with names like John Mayer, The Black Pumas, and Tracy Lawrence alongside local favorites such as Paige and The Peoples Band, Amanda Stewart, The Famous Undercover Band and the Tiny Band. You can expect to pay $5000-12,000 for a local band and $25,000-60,000 for a regional/national band and $300,000+ for celebrity acts and superstars Remember that not all bands incude sound/tech/lighting or travel and accommodations in their contracts and you will pay for this on top of their fees Be sure to read their rider closely!
