Dear Leslie,
My wedding is early next summer and I’m a bit unsure of my next steps. I’ve secured all my major vendors and now I feel like I’m twiddling my thumbs. What can I be doing right now to ensure I’m not a total stress case?

Awesome question! When planning over a year in advance, it can feel like your vendor team is a bit MIA (but it is critical to secure your team as soon as possible in the mountain west due to popularity of the area). This is a great time to remind you to slow down in the planning process, particularly if you have a wedding a year or more out. Many vendors are either really busy executing events in the current season or taking a breather. However, if you’re feeling like you don’t know what to do next, here are a few things that everyone seems to forget about until the last minute.
