Tour summary We play four contrasting golf courses that lie amid the stunning mountain scenery of the Vale of Kashmir, while staying overnight on one of the houseboats on Dal Lake. One is a links course, said to be the highest green golf course in the world; one is the longest course in India, ringed by snow-clad mountains; one is a local course in Srinagar itself; and one has been described as one of the best courses in India. We will play every course in Kashmir. For a non-playing partner or friend, there is shopping in the bazaars of Srinagar and days spent lazing on the veranda of our houseboat. Tour Highlights Pahalgam Golf Course – longest in India. Kashmir Golf Club – second oldest outside the UK. Srinagar – tour of the city. Gulmarg Golf Course – highest green golf course in the world. Royal Springs Golf Course – regarded as one of the best in India. Houseboats – a deluxe houseboat at Dal Lake.

Drive to Pahalgam; play a round at Pahalgam Golf Club. 4. In Srinagar; play Kashmir Golf Club. 5. In Srinagar; city tour; shikara ride on Dal Lake. 6. Drive Gulmarg; play Gulmarg Golf Club. 7. In Srinagar; play Royal Springs Golf Club. 8. Fly to Delhi. 9. Tour ends. We fly up to Srinagar and play all four courses in the Vale of Kashmir, staying overnight on a houseboat on Dal Lake. This extension can be added to any of our India tours on a date of your choice; please, however, note the opening periods for each course listed below.
