By now, you ’ ve probably seen plenty of wedding videos online, each with different styles, vibes, and music It can feel overwhelming! That’s why we ’ re here to help you communicate your preferences so we can craft a wedding film that feels exactly right for you on the first try
As your wedding planning continues, we’d love for you to take a few simple steps to define your vision This will ensure we create a film that reflects your style, personality, and the essence of your day
STEP 1: CHOOSE YOUR MUSIC
The music in your Highlight Film and Teaser (if applicable) plays a major role in shaping the mood of your wedding film. We’ve curated a special playlist filled with handpicked songs across different genres and vibes, ensuring there’s something for every couple.
MUSIC STYLES
Romantic + emotional
Perfect for couples who have written heartfelt vows and want an intimate, sentimental feel. Expect romantic pop and singer/songwriter-style music.

Elegant & dramatic
A refined, high-society feel with classical and orchestral influences Pairs well with polished, perfectionist cinematography and couples who love being posed

A more natural, candid, and upbeat vibe. Ideal for couples who want their film to capture laughter, dancing, and the energy of their big day. Expect indie/folk-pop music.

For Highlight Films, we typically choose: One song from any of the three Vibe folders (Classic, Cinematic, or True-to-Life) and; One song from our Fun/Upbeat folder.
WHAT IF YOU CAN’T DECIDE?
No problem! If multiple songs stand out to you, send us a short list of your favorites It’s totally fine if they come from different folders since it’s not always clear what the exact wedding-day vibe will be like!

FAQ’S AND RESOURCES
1) HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TO GET MY VIDEOS?
Teasers are delivered within 4 weeks, with all other films completed within 12 weeks While we strive to meet these timelines, please allow up to 5 months in case of unforeseen delays We take pride in our timely delivery and appreciate your patience if slight delays occur!
2) CAN I CHOOSE THE MUSIC FOR MY VIDEOS?
We invite you and strongly encourage you to collaborate with us on music selection You may access our curated playlist or browse musicbed com to choose your music or point us to several songs that you’d like us to choose from We cannot use any music outside of what is available on Music Bed as those songs are protected under copyright law and therefore illegal for us to use in your film
3) WHAT IF I DON’T LIKE THE MUSIC IN MY VIDEO?
Changing the music in a film is among the most time consuming edits to make and for that reason we urge clients to consider music beforehand by looking through our playlist If you request a complete change of music after the film has been created there will be an “intensive revision” fee with the exact amount determined by the ECP studio
4) CAN I REQUEST REVISIONS TO MY FINAL VIDEOS?
Yes! We do allow revisions as long as the studio deems them “non-time intensive ” If, for instance, you identify a few shots that you don’t particularly like or you notice an important moment missing or underrepresented, we will do the best we can with the footage available to fulfill that request If, however, your request is quite lengthy in the amount of content you ’ re wanting to change or you want to change the core structure or “vibe” of the film (see past comments about music) that may be subject to a “time intensive revision” fee. Exact amount determined by ECP studio.
Upon delivery, we will specify the window of time you have to make revision requests After the specified window of time, your project is considered “closed” and we can no longer accept revisions
5) DO I HAVE A FINAL MEETING WITH MY VIDEOGRAPHER?
The ECP team will schedule an Intro Call with your lead photographer, who will be your main point of contact for wedding-day artistic direction Our video team will follow the flow of your lead photographer, and will also receive any wedding -related notes after the Photographer Intro Call For specific video requests, notes or questions, please reach out to our team via email
6) WILL I RECEIVE THE RAW FOOTAGE FROM MY WEDDING?
Yes! We provide all raw footage exactly as captured, completely unedited This means you may see shaky clips, imperfect audio, and files that require professional editing software to view Raw footage is intended for future editing, whether by us or someone else We do not alter raw footage or provide raw audio due to privacy concerns Footage must be downloaded via desktop only, and you have 30 days to do so before it is permanently deleted We recommend an external hard drive (500GB+) for storage If you need more time, please let us know!
7) SINCE I’M GETTING RAW FOOTAGE, WHAT’S THE POINT OF ORDERING ANY LONGER, DOCUMENTARY STYLE VIDEOS?
Raw footage does NOT offer a smooth, user-friendly viewing experience Raw footage consists of hundreds of individual clips that are difficult to navigate through Longer form videos that we offer such as our Full Length Documentary Style Film and Full Ceremony Video offer a lightly edited look at many important moments in their entirety These offer a user-friendly viewing experience and a very in-depth look at some of the most important moments of your wedding day
7) SINCE I’M GETTING RAW FOOTAGE, WHAT’S THE POINT OF ORDERING ANY LONGER, DOCUMENTARY STYLE VIDEOS?
Raw footage does NOT offer a smooth, user-friendly viewing experience Raw footage consists of hundreds of individual clips that are difficult to navigate through. Longer form videos that we offer such as our Full Length Documentary Style Film and Full Ceremony Video offer a lightly edited look at many important moments in their entirety. These offer a user-friendly viewing experience and a very in-depth look at some of the most important moments of your wedding day
8) CAN I MAKE SPECIAL REQUESTS LIKE DRONE FOOTAGE OR SPECIFIC CLIPS INCLUDED IN MY VIDEO?
Yes! We love making your video personalized and specific to your day Please reach out to the ECP Video team with any specific requests so that we can make a note and prep the video team accordingly. As is the unpredictable nature of live events, we cannot guarantee the execution of any special requests
9) HOW LONG WILL MY VIDEO BE?
The final deliverable depends on the specific videography package you choose and its included services The length of your video may also vary based on the unique details and logistics of your event We encourage you to review the service descriptions for more information and feel free to reach out with any specific questions - we ’ re here to help you make the most of your videography experience
