CHBA EDMONTON REGION ANNOUNCES 2021 AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE IN HOUSING FINALISTS The city’s new home industry seems to have emerged from the pandemic lockdown stronger than before, as the Canadian Home Builders’ Association – Edmonton Region announces the 265 finalists for the 2021 Awards of Excellence in Housing. “Members have been able to make adjustments and persevere through all the challenges of the past year,” says Laura Bruno, CEO, CHBA – ER. The Awards feature 59 individual categories including Single Family, Multi-Family, Infill, Renovation, Sales Centre, Advertising, Development, Leadership, Environmental, Builders’ Choice, Sales Volume, Sales People and Builder/Realtor. The three Builder of the Year awards will be presented to the highest scoring builders in the smallvolume, large-volume and multi-family categories. Finalists have demonstrated leadership in design, sales, advertising, and customer satisfaction. “We are excited to bring a fun and safe event to our hard working members for this year’s
Awards ceremony. We will be hosting a Jailhouse Rock themed drive-in as well as an interactive livestream that members can access from home,” Bruno says. “The Association is thrilled to be able to recognize an amazing cross section of our membership through the Awards of Excellence,” she adds. “From single and multi-family to renovations, community development, sales, advertising, and the suppliers, manufacturers and service providers, the Awards of Excellence is our opportunity to showcase a wide array of members who represent the hard work and innovation from across the residential construction industry in the Edmonton Region.” The winners will be announced on June 19, 2021, at a drive-in event at the Edmonton EXPO Centre in compliance with all Alberta Health Services protocols, and via livestream. CHBA-Edmonton Region is a not-for-profit, volunteer driven organization that is the voice of the residential construction industry representing more than 430 member companies. Membership is comprised of new home builders, renovators, developers, trade contractors, building material manufacturers and suppliers, lenders, and other residential construction industry professionals.
