There is also a gas station and convenience mart slated to open later this year at the entrance to Sunset Ridge. Sunset Ridge is perched on the hillside a short drive north of downtown Cochrane on the corner of Highways 22 and 1A. Residents have quick access to Highway 1 to Banff and to Calgary via Highway 1A (Crowchild Trail), and with the Tuscany LRT station slated for opening later this year, public transit will also be very accessible.
