Brokuod is an East African trio pop group from Nairobi, Kenya, featuring Petero, CocoBaby, and Crooner. Their music blends Kenyan sounds with pop, R&B, and Afrobeat. They invite listeners worldwide to join the Skuod and enjoy their vibrant African experiences.These three young boys are the latest sensational afrobenga group breaking all musical barriers and taking over the international and local airwaves with their infectious sound.They have been topping charts and even just signed a new distribution music deal with sol generation. Their sound is unmatched as they blend musical genres like soul ,French kizomba, Afro Rnb,Lingala ,Rhumba ,Hip-hop and even Gengetone/Abertone.They have just produced a 12-track album that is sizzling from the intro to the outro, exquisite artwork and fashion-forward trendy outfits that blend in well with their vocals and lyrics. This well curated and produced masterpiece brings out the real, mature , raw, and unmatched vibes of the trio and has an interesting twist to the amount of time it took to produce, mix, and master all the songs thanks to the geniosity of Mbithi and Vinny.
The album is called ‘Misunderstood’ which delves deeper into balancing the lifestyle of being a celebrity versus being a ‘normal youth’ going through the motions of Adulthood. One song that stands out is ‘Kashata’ with cool elements of afrobenga and seems to be a crowd favorite on all music digital platforms. Next is ‘Je Pense’ where Mbithi and crooner sing in French and English which sounds incredible of a love story that is a nystery to them.”Kwaheri’”,’Kiragosi’ And ‘Ni Fair’ also tests their rapping skills including Jadi and Petero who are featured on this track.
