This project explores the concepts of doors and paths, drawing inspiration from Najdi heritage. Since it’s located in AlAwali District near Wadi Hanifa. These elements serve both functional and cultural purposes, creating a cohesive design. The doors symbolize transition and gateways, inviting visitors into a distinct realm.
Upon entering, visitors follow a curated path that reflects traditional Najdi architecture with linearity and clear axes. This design fosters order and guides exploration through various spaces while framing views of the valley and natural beauty.
The main gate leads to the pavilion, acting as a plaza with a primary view of the valley. An intersecting path connects different zones, allowing visitors to start in the entertainment area, explore the underground museum, or enjoy the restaurant and café surrounded by greenery. The path also leads to the observatory, featuring framed views and telescopes, while a bridge connects to the camping area.

Located in the Al Munsiyah district of Riyadh, the concept of “The Journey” revolves around incorporating curved elements inspired by nature. By introducing an S-shaped pathway, the goal is to enhance and prolong the overall journey experience.
This design embraces the fluidity and harmony found in natural forms, creating a captivating and engaging pathway for visitors to explore. After conducting a thorough analysis of the surrounding neighborhood and plant collection, the integration of Samlani architecture elements in the facades significantly enhances the overall aesthetic and connection to the environment.
