Fun doesn’t get any better than this Wairarapa Music in the Country is a jam-packed, threeday music event set within the picturesque grounds of the Tauherenikau Racing and Event Centre. Back for the ninth year, there’s a spectacular line-up for music lovers young and old. Headlining is Tami Neilson, an international performer. Her voice has been described as “a reminder of the soulshattering effect of the human voice at the height of its powers.” New Zealand’s iconic Pātea Māori Club and entrancing Jenny Mitchell are also among the 13-act line-up taking over Tauherenikau Racing and Event Centre from 5 to 7 January 2024. Matthew Sherry, Wairarapa Racing Club General Manager says “it is a complete coup to have such an incredible line-up of artists for 2024. All the artists are multi-award winning, including Silver Scrolls, and include a New Zealand Order of Merit for Services to Music.”
