Recent recipient Ocean Bartlett, whose latest Cricketing achievements include winning Taumata Hakinakina (Overall Sportsperson of the Year) in the 2021 Wairarapa Maori Sports Awards, making her Central Hinds debut and captaining the NZ Secondary Schoolgirls Maori XI. The Wairarapa Sports Education Trust is awarding three Scholarships - one of $1000 and two of $750 to go towards specific coaching or training costs for Wairarapa athletes. These scholarships will be presented at the WTA Sports Awards.
