Banking with NBS

One of the strengths of banking with NBS is that our Managers take an active interest in the success of their clients. At NBS all Branch Managers are experienced and can make decisions. Toni Lane, Branch Manager NBS Richmond, has worked for NBS for several years. Toni started her banking career with United Building Society more than 20 years ago. Having spent many years in Management positions with trading banks Toni has done a full circle back to a Building Society. A culture that hasn’t changed – looking after clients, it’s that simple! NBS Richmond Branch continues to attract many new business and personal customers. The installation of an ATM, the recent upgrade to Internet Banking, the refurbishment at the Richmond Branch, along with experienced staff makes NBS a competitive banking option. Call in and talk to Toni, for a “fresh” approach to banking and the friendly team at NBS Richmond can take the hassle out of changing from your existing Bank. Christmas is fast approaching and Tarnia can cater for your workplace function or end of year shout so give her a call to book in. The Lunch Break have their new summer menu up and running and you’ll find fresh tasty salads and wraps, delicious fruit trays and refreshing milkshakes, ice creams and cold drinks. They still have the old favourites – their thick salad and/or meat sammies, the famous large sausage rolls, big burgers made to order and fish and chips. Try out the chicken stack or BLAT – two of the popular order options that are quick and generous and allow you to choose your Tarnia Dixon own fillings. Owner/operator, Tarnia Nixon emphasises “Our focus is on great, home made food and value for money. We’ve got convenient parking and are happy for you to phone your orders in so we have it ready for you. And you’ve got to try our great new coffee!” They are open from 7.30am – 3pm, Monday to Friday. EYEBRIGHT CHRISTMAS 2010

Adrienne Owen is into her 25th year of running Eyebright with business partner Peter Owen. Eyebright is a fantastic local success story which began in a very small way and has grown into a local icon that is famous throughout NZ and, thanks to its website www.eyebright.co.nz, throughout the world. The biggest projects undertaken this year have been the stunning 2010 Christmas display that has been months in the making and the introduction of Prenzel products. Come and see the Prenzel tasting room where you can enjoy the flavours of the delicious Prenzel liquers, spirits, tipsy toppings and infused oils. Adrienne is also encouraging firms to book for Prenzel tasting evenings in the lead up toward Christmas. Also new this year is the “Nelson’s Best Christmas Table Competition” with great prizes. Entries are invited for photos of your festive table settings and every fortnight until Christmas Adrienne will be putting together a new setting herself to inspire people to take part.
