P&C VOICE
TERM 4 2023
Ending on a high note So much good news coming from WA P&CS!
WHAT’S INSIDE
As we head into the home stretch for 2023, we know how exhausted many P&C members are feeling. It is the happy exhaustion of knowing you have done all that you can to contribute to your school community.
FROM THE PRESIDENT’S PEN MESSAGE FROM THE EDUCATION MINISTER
Over the year, we have heard lots of good news stories coming out of our P&Cs. Several of these stories are highlighted in this edition of P&C Voice, others have been highlighted on our Facebook page and in our fortnightly eNews publications. We love showcasing the efforts of P&Cs around WA. Not only does it give us a chance to celebrate, it also provides a learning opportunity for those P&C members who might be considering running and event, applying for a grant or submitting a proposal to advocate for their community. Whatever positive change you are looking to enact, there will likely be a peer from whom you can learn. We hope the stories in this publication are useful and interesting.

While the good news stories are one way that we celebrate P&Cs, these are limited to only a few dozen each year. The collective impact of ALL our P&Cs, however, is captured in the vital Annual Contributions Report. This piece of research, undertaken by WACSSO, enables us to provide the strongest possible voice for P&Cs to the State Government and other education leaders. If you haven’t already submitted your P&C data for this Report, click here. Wishing all our P&Cs, families and school communities all the very best for the close of 2023 and a safe and happy summer break. TWITTER
