A SINGLE STOREY RESIDENTIAL HOUSE
SOFTWARES USED: 3D SKETCHUP PRO, ENSCAPE and AutoCAD2021. (Alloftheworkingdrawings, modelsandrenderedpicturearedonebytheportfolio’ sowner.)
This project's design problem is to build a one storey house on a 15 by 10 meter property lot retaining a firewall on the left side and that include spaces for the master bedroom, a common bedroom, a toilet and bathroom, a separate dining area from the kitchen, a living area, and a carport. I considered which areas should have natural ventilation and light when designing the spaces. To keep up with thermal and climatic conditions and keep in mind the design aspects of the project, I used a contemporary design style with an influence of tropical design for this project.

A SINGLE STOREY RESIDENTIAL HOUSE
Another single storey residential house, which is located in an exclusive neighborhood, is being planned and designed with the intention of embracing it's residents with nature. In addition to architectural plans, this project also includes structural, plumbing, lighting, and structural designs.

A project that I'm collaborating on with an acquaintance includes this T'boli House design. This T'boli House, which I planned and designed, is a part of a project aimed at creating a cultural heritage village that will exhibit Mindanao's traditions and culture. As the objective of this project is to incorporate culture and modern living, I designed this traditional house in a way that would give the generations to come an understanding of what comes from the past, particularly from Mindanao. In addition to preserving its traditional form, I also developed a design approach that combines the unfamiliar and the familiar.

This house design is a part of the same project that had been mentioned previously. Iam the onewhoplanned andcreated this, bearing in mind both the past and the future. It is a little bit challenging for me to come up with a new design style for Torogan House because it is oneofthewidelyrecognizedtraditionalhousesinMindanao.

A cultural public toilet may be unfamiliar to you, but it is part of a cultural heritage village in which T'boli and Torogan House, which were mentioned previously, are also taking part. Since the goal of the collaboration is to introduce Mindanao's culture and traditions in a contemporary manner, users will feel as if they are returning from the past with a sense of the future. That is what I am keeping in mind while I plan and design this public toilet.

CRUX: "A Porous City Hub and Phyllotactic" stands as a collaborative endeavor involving 12 team members, each assigned specific roles to accomplish and compete in the project. It represents my most recent involvement and forms a crucial part of our DESIGN VIII final requirements. Being one of the members, I undertook multiple roles and collaborated with various teams. This project has been an exceptional experience, as we achieved remarkable success by securing the top awards in a competition against all the other groups comprising 4th-year architecture students from Cavite State University. The awards included Best Scale Model, Best Presentation, and ultimately, the Best Overall Project. I take immense pride in being one of the key contributors to this project's success. Being part of this group was a great learning experience for me as an architecture student. Even though some of my team members were more skilled in certain areas, I still contributed significantly to the project. Collaboration and openness were key values within our team. During the Pre phase, I had the privilege of being part of the conceptual team, where only two of us worked together out of the total twelve. My selection for this role was based on my potential to create a strong concept for such a substantial project. As we transitioned into the production phase, everyone was involved in the planning process. I, along with three other team members, took on the responsibility of planning and designing the tower, which encompassed residential and leisure spaces. Additionally, I was thrilled to be part of the team working on the Scaled Model, as it marked my first time creating a scaled model for such a significant project. Apart from these major roles, I also worked on rendering and designing interiors, like the units for the condominium, food court, and leisure area. I also played a part in finalizing plans using AutoCAD. Additionally, I helped with the presentation and was one of the presenters during our project defense. Overall, this experience helped me grow as an architecture student, and I'm proud of the contributions I made to the project.
19 COLLABORATED PROJECTS
"Optimum City: A Regenerative Floating City" was a collaborative project that served as our final requirement for DESIGN VI. It involved 13 team members, each assigned different roles to complete and compete in the project. This experience felt like a real-life project that could prepare me for future challenges, especially because it took place during the pandemic. Working on this project was a new and exciting opportunity for me, as it was my first time collaborating with more than 10 team members and competing with other students from Cavite State University. However, the journey wasn't easy for any of us since we had to rely on online communication due to the pandemic restrictions. Despite the challenges, we made it a priority to meet in person during the final week before submission. This allowed us to establish strong connections and a shared understanding of the overall project we were creating. I can say that this experience of mine from this project has shaped me into what I am now in this field and how I work with people around me.
Despite facing social isolation due to quarantine, this is where I start to improve my communication skills through this project. I made genuine contributions and played a vital role in making it happen. My main focus was on planning and designing the Primary hospital, collaborating with two other team members. I took charge of conceptualizing the hospital's exterior and created a 3D model using Sketchup Pro. Additionally, I had the opportunity to design interiors not only for the medical facility but also for other areas like restaurants, classrooms, the ferry terminal, the multi-purpose building (including the hall, library, and green house of the city).
In addition to my design responsibilities, I also played a part in creating the content for our concept sheets, finalizing plans from other team members, organizing axonometry layouts, and even became one of the presenters during the project defense.
This project is the final requirement for our Professional Practice subject, where we were tasked with creating our own architectural firm. It was a unique and cherished experience for me because all the members of the team are my closest friends in this course. We treated this project as a glimpse into our future, aiming to turn it into a reality someday. Throughout the process of planning and designing the firm, we maintained constant communication. I took a
role of leading the conceptualization and overseeing the overall content of the project. Additionally, I was responsible for modeling and bringing our firm to life based on the plan that we collectively decided upon. The project holds a special place in my heart, not just because of its academic significance but also because of the strong bond we formed as friends while working towards a shared dream.

"Mandaruh: A Cultural Heritage Village" is a collaborative project of mine and my partner that was assigned to us for our Major Plate requirement in DESIGN V. Recalling the moments I am collaborating on this project flutters me, for I can say that this is where I am starting to learn more in the world of digital. My partner here is a part of the crem U U w w excels me in so many ways in this project. But I take that as an opportunity for me to grow and learn more from her. So I can proudly say that I became a big part of this project despite having beginner skills in so many ways. To begin with my contributions, the conceptualizations were done by me and my partner, and I made all the contents of our concept sheet. We divided the facilities we had to plan and design; I took all of the support facilities, food court, pavilions, amphitheater, special event hall, Torogan and T boli houses, and most of the interiors, especially where I was involved in planning and designing. Being a part of this project allowed me to expand my skills and knowledge, and I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute significantly alongside my talented partner.
22 COLLABORATED PROJECTS
This project serves as our final requirement for Building Technology III and involves a team of four members. It encompasses various elements, such as architectural plans, lighting and power layout, plumbing layout, exterior and interior perspectives, and a welpresented concept sheet. The distribution of roles among us turned out to be seamless, as each team member excelled in their specific area of expertise.
In this project, my main contribution was creating the 3D model based on the plan that our team collectively agreed upon. I took charge of designing the exterior perspective of the house, and in addition to that, I was responsible for developing all the content included in our conceptual sheet. Working together as a team, we managed to combine our strengths and skills to create a comprehensive and well-executed project. Each team member's unique contributions were instrumental in achieving success in this endeavor.
"Portilus: A Proposed Cavite Coastal Ferry Terminal" serves as our final plate requirement for DESIGN V, and it's a collaborative project involving 10 members. This project posed a bit of a challenge for me as it marked my first experience in collaborating on the planning of a significant facility, particularly the ferry terminal. In my previous projects, I had mainly focused on conceptualization and design ideas, but planning a large structure was a new endeavor. For this project, I worked closely with three other team members to handle the planning and design of the ferry terminal. My specific responsibility was to plan the ground floor of the terminal, and I was also entrusted with designing the interiors for that floor and some other levels. Beyond my role in planning and design, I actively contributed to the overall aesthetics, ideas, and concept of the structure. Additionally, I took the a contribution in creating the conceptual sheet and defining the overall project concept.
Though it was challenging, collaborating on this project allowed me to gain valuable experience and develop skills in planning a major facility, making it a rewarding and educational experience.
