ONLINE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT AND COMMUNITIES Canvas is a so-called ‘digital learning environment’, a protected website which lecturers can use to post assignments and course materials per module and where students can consult each other online. It is also possible to submit assignments on Canvas. VU Amsterdam Summer School will also publish general information. Internet allows you to work with Canvas whenever you want, wherever you want.
TIMETABLES
Around two weeks before the start of VU Amsterdam Summer School we will send you your VUnetID which is your log-in for Canvas. On Canvas we will publish more information about the airport pick-up service and arrival days. The VUnetID will also give you access to computer facilities, coffee machines and the university library.
FACEBOOK GROUP
The timetables will be published on Canvas. All of our courses consist of at least 45 contact hours. You will have classes from Monday to Friday and you will usually attend seminars/ lectures during the morning and excursions/ self-study during the afternoon.
