The VULASTIK L couplings offer a high torsional flexibility with a linear characteristic, cover a nominal torque range of TKN = 0,52 kNm bis 52,00 kNm and are primarily
used in main and auxiliary drives, gensets and drives for pumps. Six stiffnesses of natural rubber and silicone are available in order to tune the coupling to the various system requirements. The natural rubber variant of the coupling has already been optimized for higher temperature stability and is recommended for use in an ambient temperature range from -45°C to +90°C. For more temperature-critical applications
elements in silicone are available (ambient temperature range from -45°C to +120°C).
With respect to a long lifetime, consideration should be given to sufficiently large ventilation cross sections. This is very important when considering bell-house mountings.
