Medoc Vineyards and Wine Chateaux Road Take a guided tour to one of the famous Wine Chateaux Road estates for an introduction to the secrets of Medoc wine-making. Exclusive to Odyssey Club members joining us on this Reunion Cruise, we will be holding a cognac tasting experience along with lunch at the Royal Chateau of Cognac, France on the 14 June 2019. Departing from La Rochelle, members will travel to the city of Cognac for a guided tour of one of the world famous distilleries such as Camus or Remy Martin, followed by a true tasting experience. After a short drive members will arrive for a delicious lunch in the Renaissance style, State Room at the Royal Chateau of Cognac. Once the stately home of France’s illustrious King Francis I, this picturesque spot overlooks the Charente River. After lunch, members will return to La Rochelle for a guided walking tour of the old town and its emblematic old harbour with two towers greeting you at the entrance. There is also free time to stroll through the narrow streets and soak up the enchanting atmosphere, before returning to the ship in La Pallice.
