mission

Mhor.Coffee is on a mission to boast the most roasts and we have hand picked you as exactly the type of specialty coffee roaster we'd like to have on our platform. Mhor.Coffee has been founded by a couple of coffee loving entrepreneurs (husband and wife team) from the beautiful City of Perth, in Scotland. Both intrepid explorers of new coffee tastes for years, we love discovering new artisan coffees wherever we travel. Locked in our home during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic and unable to get our daily caffeine fix in any other way, we took to the internet to track down some of our favourite roasts. And then we got thinking‌. what if coffee lovers could get their hands on the good stuff all from a single online shop? The two entrepreneurs, with a combined 28 years experience of running their own businesses, immediately spotted an opportunity: a whole shop filled with fresh smelling artisan roasts, of the greatest coffees on earth with a mission to boast the most roasts. A "one stop shop" for coffee lovers and small producers all over the globe.

We n e e d to tel l yo u a bit M hòr.... When we were deciding a name for the company, one of our founders mentioned that they had registered the domain more.coffee several years before. This provided the initial inspiration for the brand, but we wanted something that was just a little but MORE than what it said on the tin. We wanted a brand that had the promise of greatness. Because, frankly, who doesn’t want a great coffee? Based in the Highlands of Scotland, and surrounded by stunning hills and glens, we decided to borrow from the Scots Gaelic word that described these great mountains: Mhòr. And GREAT was exactly what we were looking for. Mhòr Coffee was born. Caffeine inspired genius. Of course, and we hope this is a mere technicality and you’ll forgive us and love us anyway, Mhòr is actually pronounced “vor” rather than ‘more’. But it’s greatness that counts, and that’s what we hope to deliver.

Wh y sel l w i th M hor.C o ffee? We will work with the best. We will hand pick every specialty coffee roaster that we list on the site. Coffee lovers across the world should be confident that they are getting the very best at all time. We're proud of small. Mhòr may mean GREAT, but we know small can be even greater. We know the passion that small, artisan roasters put into their products and we want to make sure that passion and quality can reach the world.

What 's in i t f or yo u? A picture is worth a thousand words. One of our co-founders has run a marketing agency for the last 18 years. We know exactly how to help your products reach a wider market and get them into the hands of coffee lovers no matter where they are on this beautiful little planet.
