Police here in Mpumalanga havearrested two menbelieved to be major suppliers of drugs intheStanderton andVolksrust areas. According to a statement by police, crime intelligence in Standerton had been working around the clock to verify the authenticity of information linking two men to the "major" supply of drugs in the two Mpumalanga towns On Thursday,policesaid theymade a breakthrough when an operation conducted by Standerton Crime Intelligence and the Ermelo K9 division led to the arrest of a 40-year-old man believed to possibly be in the country illegally. Police spokesperson Brigadier Selvy Mohlalasaidthemanwasfound driving a gold Nissan NP200, allegedly filled with large quantities of narcotics. "The

suspect was found in possession of various types of drugs including 102 mandrax tablets (149 grams), one unpacked bag of crystal meth (17 grams), one unpacked bag of Cat (11 grams), one bag of mandrax (14 grams) and one unpacked bag of nyaope (11 grams)," Mohlala said Police then raided the suspect's residence. Mohlala added: a white Toyota Etios which was reported stolen in Centurion, Pretoria five years ago, which was also recovered in Meyerville this week. Accident claiming ten lives on SA roads

Ingredients

•1 fairly thickslice crustless bread(whiteor brown)

•375 ml milk

•25 ml oil

•10ml butter

•2 onions, sliced

•2 cloves garlic,crushed

•25 ml curry powder

•10ml salt

•25ml chutney

•15ml smooth apricotjam

•15ml Worcester sauce

•5ml turmeric

•25ml brownvinegar

•1 kg raw mince

•100 ml sultanas (don’t replace with raisins – they are too sweet; sultanas are much better for this recipe)

•3 eggs

•pinch eachsalt and turmeric

•bay leaves

Cooking method

1. Soakbread in milk. Heat oilandbutterin largepanand fry onionsand garlic.

2. When onionsare soft, add curry powder, salt, chutney, jam, Worcester sauce, turmeric and vinegarandmix well.

3. Drain and mash bread and reserve milk. Add bread to pantogether with mince andsultanas.

4. Cook overlowheat, stirring, and whenmeat losesitspinkness, remove from stove. Add 1 beatenegg, mix well, then spoon intoa greased, 28 x 16 cm baking dish and levelthetop.

Beat remaining eggswith reserved milk(you should have300ml, ora littlemore)and the salt and turmeric

•Pourovermeat mixture and put a fewbay leaveson top. Stand dish in a largerpan of water(thisisimportant to preventdryingout)and bake, uncovered, at 180degrees Celsiusfor 1 houroruntil set.

Serve with rice, coconut, chutney, nuts and bananas.
