It Must Have a Name by Joseph Aljilore

Release date: 5th of July A word from the author:

Blurb:

My name is Joseph Ajilore. I'm a writer of conversations and perspectives. My last book was named “The Title Is Not Important.”

In his latest work, Joseph Ajilore is poignant and expansive. IIMHAN is a creative and eclectic outlet of prose and micro-fiction, examining human complexities and expressions, internally and externally.*

We live in a world full of complexities where opinions and decisions that fall into the grey areas are scrutinised with the vengeance of the tongue and the judgement of the public. My new book, If It Must Have A Name is a combination of poetry, prose and micro-fictions divided into nine chapters (Introspective, Complexities, New Media, Religion, Power, When the layers are peeled, Elation, Racism, Stories are told around the circle) all exploring honest dialogues and sometimes, monologues with an intimate look at the vulnerability and tragedies of love, joy, family, religion, culture, race and history. The whys and hows.

The constant search continues. The who, the why and what of humanity. The ponderings and wonderings that are sometimes stuck in a labyrinth, floating in the spaceless vacuum. Throughout the soliloquies, we established the revisited past and pain, the ethos and pathos. The reality and consciousness of the then and now, intertwined with callow youthfulness and naivety throughout the verses and short tales within the pages. As tides bring swells, so do the pages of this book, evoking emotions, acuteness and courses.

I hope you all enjoy it
