Becky Bautista is the VNA Health nurse in charge of monitoring daily the 18 patients on Telehealth. VNA Health is the only local homecare agency with Telehealth, which is a donorfunded program using technology to monitor high-risk patients. Becky ensures patients’ blood pressure, heart rate, and other vitals are on target and helps patients adjust their medications, diet or necessary activities. Becky not only keeps these patients safe in their homes, but helps to reduce hospitalizations and unplanned doctor visits.
