After waking up from the coma, Joseph was let out of his bed as soon as he tested healthy and safe to return back. Since the building they were living in was burned down, they temporarily moved with their aunt while Joseph's mother looked for another apartment to live in, and Joseph was allowed to return to school after missing half a semester.
On his way to school he was surprised by his friend Sophi who was worried about him, asking him about the stories roaming around the school where he saved a little girl from a fire, but was badly burned.
