italy Heat exchangers for Caviro A technology signed by VLS Technologies enters the largest cellar in Italy Caviro, born in 1966, is the wine cooperative which, with 10% of the production of grapes in Italy and with 12800 winemakers in 7 regions, is in fact the largest winery in our country. With different brands for each consumer segment, Caviro combines extensive experience in the wine sector and a focus on technological innovation to bring quality wines to world markets. VLS Technologies recently supplied six insulated heat exchangers to Caviro, used by the cooperative to cool the musts during the harvest. The STT tube to tube exchanger, which allows a rapid drop in the temperature of the product being processed, is a technology particularly requested in the Food & Beverage sector, thanks to the different areas of application, from fluid substances to more viscous liquids. The dimensions of the VLS STT exchangers can also be customized, according to specific production needs.

italy Filtration of egg-based solutions A new challenge for VLS Technologies to support Eurovo Group Born in the mid-twentieth century as a family-run company for egg processing and developed over the years through a path of constant growth in the name of innovation and quality, Eurovo Group is today the European leader in the production of fresh and preserved eggs and egg products , with several brands dedicated to the public and professional customers.

To meet the production needs of this important reality, VLS Technologies has created a special FVV20 pressure filter, specially designed to filter egg-based solutions. VLS FVV filters are increasingly in demand in the food sector, thanks to the various possibilities of application and customization.

SPAIN Pressure Leaf Filter FVO50 for Acesur Another important partnership between VLS and one of the largest oil producers in the world For Acesur, one of the five largest oil mills in the world, VLS Technologies recently supplied an FVO50 vertical pressure leaf filter. Founded in 1840, Acesur is a Spanish company that deals with the production, bottling and trading of olive oil and other vegetable oils, exporting its products to over 90 countries.

Thanks to the great experience in the sector and the attention to the quality and innovation of the production processes, Acesur now includes 8 plants with over 600 employees.

Acesur has chosen to purchase the high-performance 50mq leaf filter for oil from VLS, which guarantees roughing filtration and a brightening effect of the filtered olive oil. The FVO filter had previously been chosen by Deoleo, the number one company in the world for bottled oil sales.

Thanks to the technical characteristics and the exceptional results guaranteed by the use of this machinery, VLS confirms itself as a technological partner for the supply of filtration solutions to two of the most important companies in the oil sector at an international level.

ENGLAND With VLS the premium winery Camel Valley eliminates the use of diatomaceous earth The Single Filter chosen by the English winegrowers to filter the products Camel Valley is a renowned family run English winery, founded in 1989 in the Cornish countryside. The spouses Lindo and his son Sam devote themselves passionately to the production of high quality wines, awarded in important international competitions.

Always attentive to technologies and production processes, the premium winery was looking for a unique solution to eliminate the use of diatomaceous heart in the filtration of all products.

VLS has supplied the winery with the innovative Unico Filter, the all-in-one machine designed for small and medium-sized producers, which allows you to filter wines, musts and lees without adjuvants: the perfect solution for the needs of Camel Valley.

BRAZIL The project of a new complete winery in Brazil for Vinicola Galés The complete supply of VLS machinery, from the grapes reception to the filtration Serra das Galés is a Brazilian winery founded in 2007 in the state of Goías, in the heart of the country. The highest quality grapes grown in the cellar grow in the fertile soil of the Brazilian Cerrado and allow the production of juices and fine wines.

Thanks to the partnership with the local distributor Amazon, VLS is building a new complete winery for Vinicola Galés.

In particular, the grape reception line, pneumatic presses, peristaltic pumps and wine and lees filtering stations will be installed to guarantee the Brazilian producer the most innovative technologies dedicated to the production process.

COSTA RICA Vertical pressure leaf (Atex) filters for Coca Cola: a new successful project The innovative production plant in Costa Rica chooses VLS technologies For the opening of a new Coca Cola production plant in Latin America, VLS Technologies has been chosen as a technological partner by the very famous company for the reliability and exceptional performance of the machinery.

The innovative headquarters, recently opened in Costa Rica, is responsible for developing the bases for preparing various drinks of the Coca Cola group and is one of the group’s most technologically advanced systems, as well as being certified for its reduced environmental impact.

Through a careful study of the customer’s particular production needs and the development of a complex technological project, VLS has designed, built and supplied to the new headquarters in Costa Rica two FVV pressure leaf filters, manufactured according to ATEX explosion-proof regulations.

An important partnership for the supply of custom-made solutions to Coca Cola, which reconfirms the technical superiority of VLS filters.

UNITED STATES The Unico Filter in Silicon Valley for JasonStephens Winery The American producer relies on VLS Technologies to filter wine and lees The Jason Stephens winery is located in the Silicon Valley area, known above all for high-tech companies: few know that in the past Silicon Valley was a renowned place for wine production.

Jason Stephens, together with his wife, opened his winery in this area, bringing the true nature of the territory back to its origins.

For the American winery, VLS has provided the technology unique filter 6 + 4: ideal for medium-small producers, who need functional machinery for specific production needs, the single filter ensures a great yield in the filtration of wine and lees.

Thanks to the collaboration with the new Australian distributor Grapeworks, VLS solutions are entering the wine market of the continent, serving the local wine producers.

An example is the recent partnership with the Blue Pyrenees Estate winery, founded in 1963 and producer of very fine wines, with high quality grapes from their own vineyards.

The Australian winery turned to VLS Technologies for the purchase of a functional machine, which allowed to filter the wine and recover the product still usable from the lees.

Lees Stop cross-flow filter is specifically dedicated to the treatment of «tank bottoms» thanks to its stainless steel membranes: it frees from the daily use of rotary drum vacuum filters, and the final product will be perfectly brilliant and clear (< 1 NTU).

Finally, residues still containing alcohol can easily be valorized in a distillery. Lees Stop is fit for the filtration of wine musts, juice’s retentates, spirits and distillates.
