Clay Chapman: A second-generation member of our leadership team, brings innovative efficiency and strategic vision to our booking and yacht reservations department. His forward-thinking approach ensures our reservation systems remain cutting-edge while maintaining our commitment to personalized service.
Cole Chapman: A second-generation member of our leadership team, manages the critical processes of new yacht onboarding, including overseeing the ever changing BVI registrations and licensing applications and approvals. His systematic approach guarantees our fleet meets all regulatory obligations while his thorough oversight ensures our yachts are always able to operate legally under the stringent BVI regulations. He also serves as the essential liaison between the yacht builder warranty departments and maintenance services, ensuring all vessels maintain compliance with builder standards. Cole's comprehensive management of these crucial aspects has strengthened our fleet operations, delivering exceptional reliability and peace of mind to our yacht owners and charter guests alike.
Daphne Nelson: Our bookkeeper, brings specialized expertise in yacht management accounting to our team. Her extensive experience navigating the unique financial complexities of our industry is invaluable. “Scubby” Baksh: Our lead technician, performs most boat briefings with our charter guests. A true team favorite, Scubby's remarkable service is consistently mentioned by name in company reviews, highlighting his significant contribution to our guests' experience.
Kristie and Scott Kaighen: Kristie, affectionately referred to as “office Kristie”, leads our Concierge Team at the St Thomas base. She’s the first person to welcome our charter guests while efficiently overseeing scheduling, boat cleaning, and supervising our interior/exterior cleaning staff. Her organizational skills ensure smooth daily operations at our island headquarters. Scott, our 'Charter Ready' Manager, ensures each yacht is fullyequipped and always ready for charter. The small blue box at the beginning of a charter booking indicates a sleepaboard night and the grey box at the end is a technical stop. The technical stop prevents booking a same day turn.
The red lines indicate possible charter weeks.
MISTAKES TO AVOID WHEN CHOOSING OWNER DATES.
In the example above, there is room for TWO charter weeks in this window. As an owner, if you were to choose dates right in the middle of this window, you would potentially lose a full PAID charter week by taking your boat out of play.

At Virgin Islands Yacht Charters, we use Blue Folder to ensure your investment is meticulously maintained. This specialized online system allows us to:
Track every maintenance task performed on your yacht with detailed records and documentation
Schedule preventive maintenance based on manufacturer recommendations, usage patterns, and our experience with Caribbean conditions
Maintain complete service histories that follow your vessel, enhancing its resale value
Receive automatic alerts when your yacht is due for critical maintenance
Document all work with photos and detailed notes accessible from anywhere
Respond quickly to any issues that arise during charters with our mobile-connected team
The system helps us maintain the highest standards of safety and reliability while preserving your yacht's condition and value. It also provides you with transparency - you can request reports showing exactly how your yacht is being maintained and what work has been completed or is scheduled.
LOGGING IN
You will be provided a link to activate your Blue Folder account and access to your yacht’s Customer Portal. The link expires after 24 hours or immediately after creation of your password.
