Year 1953. A dream becomes reality.

From the countryside of Bahia, Antônio Anibal Souza founded Ebisa, which was first called EMPRESA BAHIANA DE INVESTIMENTOS S.A (EBISA). It primarily focused on civil construction and real estate development.

With an almost exclusive dedication and always with avant-garde thinking, a remarkable characteristic of his personality, Anibal was consolidating the company's name. The concern with quality, deadlines and e iciency have always marked his trajectory.

Aiming to diversify its activities and always faithful to its entrepreneurial spirit, he changed the name of the company to Ebisa - Engenharia Brasileira, Indústria e Saneamento S.A., as of 06/28/1973, also acting in all branches of heavy engineering.

Later, still aiming at a greater diversification, Anibal created Ebisa Empreendimentos e Participações Ltda to exclusively manage real estate projects and Ebisa Agropecuária Ltda, focused on livestock and cocoa.

Today, almost seven decades later and already with the participation of the third generation, the EBISA Group has a professional management with a vision always focused on new business opportunities, following the philosophy of its founder.

EBISA - ENGENHARIA BRASILEIRA, INDÚSTRIA E SANEAMENTO Ltda been a prominent presence in the civil construction and heavy construction market, acting in several states of the country, and competing equally with the largest in the field. Its activities include studies, planning and construction of major works contracted with public and private clients, with whom it maintains an increasingly diversified portfolio of contracts in areas related to engineering, always faithful to the quality and safety standards of its constructions.

Real estate developments, including the incorporation of luxury and high luxury buildings, constitute the chain of activities of EBISA EMPREENDIMENTOS E PARTICIPAÇÕES Ltda, in which the commitment to quality and fulfillment of deadlines have been strong points of customer preference and satisfaction.

AGRICULTURE AND LIVESTOCK

Ebisa Agropecuária Ltda has its important selection nucleus for Nellore located at Fazendas Lindóya and Vitória, in the municipality of Itagibá, in Bahia, and at Fazenda Boa Sorte, in the municipality of Ibicuí, also in Bahia. In addition to genetic improvement, including the use of arti cial insemination, it operates in the breeding, rearing and fattening of selected Nellore cattle.
