We hope everyone had a great Chinese New Year as there was so much that happened in Vivacity Megamall. We saw lions prancing and dancing, leaping from pole to pole, martial artists showcasing their skills to a dragon flying around at the Alfresco area. It was a Wang’derful occasion for many. Yummy and mouth-watering beef rendang, satays and ketupats. The howl of a warrior in motion and the cheer of the ladies. This only signals one thing. Hari Raya and Gawai. This edition of Vivarious should be very obvious. Enjoy the little facts we have collected for you all, as many do not know the in-depth meaning behind the celebration. Both celebration is only 2 weeks apart from each other, hence we decided to put both together, which surprisingly does complement each other. In this issue, we collected and compiled the latest fashion trend in the market as well as small yet powerful gadgets available in the market. The past months has been exciting with many new faces opening their brands inside the mall. From savoury Thai food brought to you by Soi19 to sweet delights frozen yoghurt by YOGU, high tech watches from GARMIN to simple and good quality home products by MINISO, there are more selection for shoppers to choose. Love was in the air as the 3rd 38 Media Wedding Expo was held here, with many hotels as well as bridal studios taking opportunity to collaborate and promote themselves to lovely lovebirds who are planning for their wedding, and those who signed up were in the running to win lucky prizes from the organiser, 38 Media. This became a one-stop centre for couples to survey the necessities for their future wedding. From hotels to wedding reception, wedding cakes to prewedding shoots, all of these can be found here at the Expo. The four days programme were packed with activities including fashion shows, lucky draw, showcasing the latest in wedding fashion from different bridal shops to performances like musical band and dances.

oramax Group annual dinner is held every year as appreciation towards all employees for their hard work & dedication throughout the year. Regardless of company or department, race & language, the staffs gathered together this year at The Sarawak Club on 21st January 2018 with the theme, Beauty in Diversity! The relaxing environment shows the different side of everyone as compared to when they are at work. While some staff dressed up in traditional costumes of their own unique race and some chooses to keep it formal, everyone had the chance to be in the running for Best Dressed Male & Female of the night. Apart from the scrumptious dinner and long service award presentation, all staffs were entertained with karaoke, dance performances, mini games and best dressed catwalk. There were also photobooth and lucky draws for everyone present that night. Cally Bong won the grand prize and walked away with a 49� Smart TV. All staff enjoyed the night and is now looking forward to another exciting dinner next year.
