The Victorian Institute of Technology (VIT), so ably led by its founder, CEO and President, Arjun Surapaneni, is an outstanding example of the power of Australia's multicultural society. Arjun brought to Australia a passion and vision for education, a powerful entrepreneurial spirit, integrity, a belief in the importance of teamwork, innovation and quality and an appreciation of putting the customer first in whatever field of endeavour you pursue.
These are the values that have shaped the development, the growth and the success of VIT over its first 25 years....and, Australia has been the beneficiary.
With official recognition and accreditation across Higher Education, Vocational Education, Overseas Student Education and Registered Training, the VIT comprehensively covers the field of tertiary education with

Alumni Messages
The most memorable experiences I had in VIT are the unforgettable friendships that I have built and close relationships with the teacher in the classroom.
Best Regards,
Felycia ViffanyThe year of graduate class 2018
VIT was my first cookery school, and I am so glad that I was a part of it. We had amazing experiences in and outside the classroom. I have learned most of my culinary experiences from the practical classes and I knew that from then onwards that I would love to pursue my own hospitality journey and so I did it. From Mid 2006 until now I have managed to stay consistent in this industry and continue to do so as long as I can. I thank VIT and its team for helping me build a foundation and prepared me for my amazing bittersweet journey.
Best regards
Fauzia Jahan Graduate from 2009My name is Kuldeep Kaur, I am an MBA graduate from VIT (Class of 2023). I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here with VIT. From admission till the last semester everything went smoothly. Lecturers and staff were very cooperative and were always available to help and support the students. Our classes were mostly online but we were still able to easily communicate
with teachers through email. The lecturers were knowledgeable and always made students engage through activities. Our course coordinator Dr. Priyantha Bandara was also very supportive as I reached out to him several times and he was very responsive. I am really thankful to all our VIT

Message from The Hon Daniel Andrews
Dear Arjun,
Please accept my hearty congratulations on the occasion of VIT’s Silver Jubilee.
25 years of providing quality educational opportunities in Victoria is. definitely an achievement to celebrate.
Over that time, VIT has grown and evolved. Starting out as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), it has now an established place as a provider of higher education. Not only in Victoria, but also at several interstate campuses.
VIT has also been a successful example of the important role private providers play in the growth and development of Victoria’s burgeoning international education sector. A sector that is now Australia’s largest service-based export industry.
Over the last 25 years, I am told more than 6,000 students have graduated with a diverse range of qualifications from VIT. Many of these graduates have gone on to further study, some have made Australia their home. Many others have returned to their homeland and become valued members of civil society and contributed to the ongoing development of our region. I am also confident that they have all become informal ambassadors for Australia wherever they may now be.
Once again, congratulations to all involved in VIT’s silver jubilee. You can all be rightly proud of your achievements.
With my best wishes,
Message from The Hon Daniel Andrews
