6 – 9 JUNE QUEEN’S BIRTHDAY LONG WEEKEND WATERSIDE 11 NILE STREET PORT ADELAIDE
PRESENTED BY VITALSTATISTIX This is how it works: selected artists spend the long weekend in an open studio environment developing new work which can span live art, performance, sound, installation, visual art and more. Audiences and peers engage with the artists and their creative process through a public program of artist talks and work-in-progress showings. Each year we also host an artist-in-residence project, where guest artists works with ten South Australian collaborators on the development of a new work, for two weeks leading up to Adhocracy. This year we feature Crawl Me Blood by Halcyon Macleod and Willoh S. Weiland, presented in association with Aphids.
Adhocracy is a festival of ideas meets intense art camp meets magic house party featuring Australia’s most exciting established and emerging makers of Australian contemporary culture, art, performance and commentary, alongside a bar, food and great conversation for a fantastic winter’s long weekend.
WE ARE SEEKING PROPOSALS FROM ARTISTS ACROSS AUSTRALIA FOR THIS UNIQUE CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY. APPLICATIONS DUE 27 MARCH.
