The Positive Impact TV brand with all its branches and PR works, has accumulated tens of thousands of content consumers: viewers, listeners, followers, subscribers, and those who consume our social media and other content incognito.

Now I’m proud to welcome all our future content consumers into our Positive Impact Circle, so that they can join our ecosystem, more easily access our content, and most importantly, engage with content producers - YOU, our dear experts, coaches, authors and speakers. The circle has been long awaited. Many of you have inquired about connecting with one another, building relationships, having networking events, exchanging referrals. The “Pay it Forward” FB community has been an acceptable middle ground for people to connect, but with the growth of FB communities, constant changes of algorithms and countless notifications, we get lost as a needle in a haystack.

HENCE, I’m proud to announce the Heartbeat App, a community and resource library management website (and app) to allow our dear members to connect and grow. After we migrate our existing members to Heartbeat and build out our training content library, Phase 2 is going to offer our content library access to corporate consumers as well, thereby further exposing our providers to yet another layer of their target audience - corporate employees and management.

WHAT DOES A HEALTHY COUPLE RELATIONSHIP LOOK LIKE?

Top 3 essential tips to live your happily ever after Sascha and Gemma met in 2013 when Gemma just left 15 years of domestic violence (beaten, put down, and raped to name the worst ones). They both were 34 years old and Sascha didn't have a regular relationship because he was dealing with the mental insanity of his mother who limited his relationships as much as she could as she felt threatened by any woman who could enter her son's life. She ended up committing suicide about 2 weeks prior to Gemma leaving her second abusive marriage.

“If you set your goals ridiculously high and it's a failure, you will fail above everyone else's success.” –James Cameron

TIPS FOR HAPPY LIFE, CONT'D

Sascha was born very disabled with Spina-Bifida Myelomeningocele, the worst form of it. According to the medical community, he should have never walked, been mentally challenged, and dead by the age of 7. In his mind, he only saw life, liberty, love, and success at the highest level possible. He ended up walking, going to the best schools and universities (he holds 2 Bachelor's and 1 Master's degree as well as many certificates) and has a very high level of emotional intelligence on top of his successes in life. He mastered the mental insanity of his mother as a young adult who lost his father to a heart attack when Sascha was just 16 years old.

Now, you have Gemma who knows and has been groomed in being the victim in a relationship, and Sascha who knows what a healthy couple relationship looks and feels like. They fall in love a few months after they meet when both their abusers are out of their respective lives. They have been living together for 9+ years now, and are still in love ❤. During their relationship, Gemma learned how to love and support him and Sascha has been uplifting, empowering, and accompanying her along her healing and transformation journey.

Here are their top 3 pieces of advice for living a healthy long-term love relationship:

Agree to disagree if it’s not essential

You both are able to disagree without being disagreeable. By respecting the other person’s opinion and perspective, you show that you care and that you are curious. Often, asking open questions leads to more interesting perspectives and things you completely overlooked.

“I am constantly re-evaluating my goals and trying to strike items from my to-do list that aren't critical.” – Aisha Tyler

3 tips for happy life cont'd

Instead of arguing to know who is right and who is wrong, maybe both of you are right based on your background and your perspective. How about praising the other person for their input that you didn’t consider before?

How about asking more questions to better understand the other person’s point of view? And if both of you cannot find an agreement, ask yourselves if this will really matter tomorrow and the day after, or if, at the end of the day, it’s not really important who was there before, who started this dispute, or if your mother-in-law is hiding something.

If your relationship is more important than being right, look at each other with love and respect, and agree to disagree, as this will not change your love for each other anyhow anyway.

Revisit where you both are at regarding your respective goals and interests every quarter

Regularly, usually every quarter, you could revisit where you are at regarding your goals, aspirations, dreams, and what you really want in life.

Relationships

Happy Relationships, cont'd

This can lead to reinforcing your relationship or considering how you both want to continue when you are clearly drifting apart. Then it becomes a serious conversation about your future together or individually and the consequences on your respective lives

Building a loving and trusting relationship

It's so important to build a loving and trusting relationship where you both feel to share the good, the bad, and the ugly, knowing that your partner will always support and love you.

If you can adapt your goals and interests to fit both, that’s amazing. It can work for decades to come. If you cannot, it’s time to revisit what you both give and get in this relationship to make an adult and

responsible decision regarding your future.

Make sure each one of you still feels loved and adored

Each person has a different value scale when it comes to the 5 love languages according to Gary Chapman:

Love Languages

Acts of service, when actions speak louder than words Receiving heartfelt and thoughtful gifts that show love, care, and attention Quality time, giving each other undivided attention

Words of affirmation, being praised and affirmed by your partner

Touchy-feely, touch means the world for you

Regularly ask your partner if they still feel loved and adored. If your love language doesn’t

reach their heart, they will not feel loved and adored as much as you do love and adore them. This is why opening up the conversation and figuring out what your partner needs to feel loved and adored by you is essential to maintain a longterm healthy loving relationship in your couple.

Maintaining a long-term healthy relationship may require some adjustments to make sure each person in the couple feels loved and adored, feels seen, heard, acknowledged, recognized, praised, and that they matter.

A GLIMPSE INTO DIGITAL ECONOMY

Modern human beings are familiar with Machine Learning (ML), the Internet of Things (IoT), and Artificial Intelligence (AI). As the world shifts its emphasis toward the development of a digital economy, these phrases are increasingly employed in business and politics. We are often told that "technology is the future," and in many respects, this is accurate.

What Is the Digital Economy?

The digital economy is the branch of the economy that deals with the production and distribution of digital information and products. It includes businesses that produce and sell digital goods and services and those that use digital technologies to enable new business models.

www. PositiveImpact.TV
Business DECEMBER
2022

In recent years, its growth has been accelerated by technological advancements and the increased availability of high-speed Internet connections. This growth has led to the creation of new industries, jobs, and ways for businesses to reach customers.

Although technology may not totally replace human professions, it has a substantial impact on the skills required to provide value to the economy, as well as on how we learn and interact. While this article does not get into the specifics of AI, ML, and IoT, it will discuss what a technology-driven future looks like and what it implies for the digital economies of ASEAN and Australia, given the digital gap in the area.

ASEAN Potential

The ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) has the potential to become the fourth biggest economy in the world by 2050, with the ASEAN Digital Economy estimated to increase by 500% to over US$200 billion by 2025. As seen by the increasing number of ASEAN-based e-commerce businesses, such as Singapore's Lazada and Indonesia's Tokopedia, the digital economy is projected to rise to $88 billion by 2025. The Southeast Asia (SEA) internet economy is expected to increase from $72 billion in 2018 to $240 billion in 2025, according to the 2018 Google-Temasek e-Conomy Southeast Asia (SEA) study. As investor trust in the area continues to climb, this indicates enormous growth potential for ASEAN as a regional economy, particularly in sectors such as e-commerce, ride-hailing, and the general startup environment.

www.PositiveImpact.TV Stress

How ASEAN and Australia React to Disruption (The Challenge)

Economic expansion is both constructive and harmful. ASEAN-Australia needs to find a balance between fast growth, digitization, and managing disruptions so that the region can reach its full potential.

Although disruption has a bad connotation, it is inevitable during a time of progress and, if handled effectively, may be helpful. To become a fully charged but not overcharged area, ASEAN and Australia must work toward inclusive and sustainable development that ensures the safety of its users, even though becoming a rapidly growing economic power through digitalization is appealing.

ASEAN was established to pursue economic integration within the region and between ASEAN and the rest of the globe. Even though ASEAN's policy of economic integration may have worked well in promoting free trade, the region's growth as a digital hub may need a different approach.

www.PositiveImpact.TV Fitness

DECEMBER 2022

A GLIMPSE INTO DIGITAL ECONOMY

In addition to artificial intelligence, automation might have a significant impact on the Southeast Asian industrial industry. Currently, Southeast Asia is one of the largest industrial centers outside of China due in part to its inexpensive labor. This sector might be fundamentally transformed by the advent of automation, which would boost efficiency and further reduce prices. However, it has the potential to eliminate employment for a large number of people in the area. According to a research titled "ASEAN in Transformation" by the International Labour Organization (ILO), roughly 137 million paid employees in Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Thailand might lose their employment during the next 20 years. Takeaway. In the next few years, it is anticipated that the digital economy of ASEAN will expand tremendously. However, growth at such a rapid rate as a region may not be sustainable for all ASEAN members since several nations continue to face additional developmental obstacles that may restrict their progress.

While it is commendable that ASEAN has engaged in cooperation discussions through various initiatives such as the ASEAN Digital Integration Framework and the ASEAN Innovation Network, it is imperative that ASEAN recognize the underlying differences and distinct needs of each country rather than being overly focused on growing as one.

The vision for Deshaun Williams became clear. He is a proud servant of humanity. He is an inspirational Speaker, Certified Transformation Coach, Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Advocate, and Author. His story is something that will help you see what a true leader can be.

At first glance, Williams looks, and seems like someone who has had a great childhood, and rarely faced hard times, but that's far from the truth. In 2018, he fought hard with mental illness, and almost lost the fight to depression. Williams would attempt to take his own life in the middle of the night, because he felt there was nothing worth living for, and felt that suicide would be the answer, what he didn't expect was to hospitalized by church officials, and being taken to the mental ward floor where he would stay for ten days.

Mental Health

YOU CAN PROVE THEM WRONG

While in the hospital, he would meet with a psychiatric therapist who told him that he would never have what it takes to inspire others, or to be someone who could motivate them to reach their ultimate life goals. Williams did not allow the claim of someone looking in from the outside to break him down, but the complete opposite, he used that to fuel the fire within him, and improve his life situation. Williams knew that his story would promote the connection he feels toward others, and his passion to see everyone understand and value their own worth. The intriguing, thought provoking topics Willams presents to those who indulge in his services, and his friends are invitations to really consider what it will take to bring about your transformation, in order to thrive, and create the change, and impact they want to see in the world, It is within this element that Williams excels at his highest level. Williams makes clear that he is “big on leveraging stories of his guests and listeners, to use what they have been through to propel them into the future.”

Williams never imagined himself to be seen as a Leader, because of the demons he suffered from mental health challenges. However, he sees it as an opportunity to build up more leaders, and consistently show what a true leader is. His health and wellbeing is an immense contributing factor to his ability, it is with courage and a heart full of compassion, that Williams can fully embrace all aspects of what it truly takes to be a humanitarian. The care of himself has come to fruition as his mental and physical health had to be upgraded so that he can fully be in the zone of making an impact. Williams is an advocate of striving consistently to be at one’s best, and says that “physical health ties in by leveraging physical health issues for a greater purpose.”

How I climbed out

Day after day I felt sorry for myself, and at the same time angry that I felt so useless and powerless in climbing out of the depression.

As long as I remembered myself, I considered myself an optimist. However, during depression, nothing made me smile, I had no hope, no dreams, I took no joy in doing things I previously loved.

I was disgusted with myself for being depressed. I hated the feeling, but couldn't do a thing about it.

I also gained weight and got out of shape. Sweets were my go-to stress management, and sleep was a way to escape the sad reality. I tried listening to some motivational stuff, and at times it made me feel hopeful, but then I slid back into the hopeless state of desperation for someone to come and recue me, because I had no energy to do it myself.

ONE DAY I WAS SICK OF BEING SICK

This was HONESTLY the BEST day in my life back then. I was so disgusted with self-pity and feeling like a victim, that I somehow snapped out of it and started THINKING for a change. I thought to myself, what is outside of me but in my control that can assist me in feeling a tiny bit better.

www. PositiveImpact.TV
Mindset

NOTHING WILL BRING YOU DOWN

MUSIC

I stopped listening to sad and depressing music, and I started creating playlists that uplift my mood and playing that in the background all day.

SMELL

I started using essential oils in my house, citrus ones mainly, because they stimulate good mood. I put a little cotton ball soaked in orange oil by my laptop and sniffed it each time I had an impulse to sink back into the blues.

PLANTS

I read somewhere the houseplants do miracles for our state of being, so I went and bought some more, and also cut flowers, which ALWAYS used to make me happy. Seeing green around me, and having more oxygen as a side benefit, had an amazing effect on me.

Despite all odds, I started an IG page with positive quotes.

Of course, I had to research them, and find a good image to illustrate it, even eventually learnt to make videos and reels to make these quote come to life. I started looking forward to the next quote. I also started following a few similar pages.

EXERSICE

I forced myself to move, and to get out of the house. First, even to sit on a balcony for a few minutes, then to go for a brief walk, then do a 5-minute low intensity home workout. Before I knew it, I was doing longer, more consistent workouts at home, and my walks turned into jogging, and, eventually I returned to my past passion of running.

PODCASTS / SHOWS

Last but not least, I started learning SKILLS to battle depression I was surprised to learn that we can actually control our thoughts. This was a relief, such an empowering piece of knowledge! This changed EVERYTHING. I was working on becoming more self-aware, catch my negative thoughts and replace them with something positive, or just with an opposite. Or, I'd force myself to get distracted and turn to one of the tips mentioned above

DISTRACTIONS WERE SABOTAGING MY RELATIONSHIPS, SLEEP & SELF-ESTEEM”

Inspired from AdditudeMag.com

“Turning off notifications on WhatsApp, deleting Facebook, silencing notifications for anything but phone calls and breaking news, and removing apps like Instagram and LinkedIn from my home screen dramatically reduced my FOMO (fear of missing out) and made me feel less worried about what I was doing with my amazing life.”

We may give ourselves a million reasons to keep our phones on at night. We may check our messages just ONE LAST TIME before going to sleep. We may be tempted to watch something entertaining or relaxing to help us fall asleep. Sound familiar?

"As phone notifications discreetly stole my sleep, they caused a constant drip of anxiety for absolutely no reason, affecting my mood and ability to truly engage in the real world. I was out in paradise, surrounded by amazing people, constantly beckoned to thumb through the mundane posts of strangers." - Les Steed

It doesn't seem to matter how much we read or hear about the negative effects of electronics or blue light, or even EMF radiation, we love our devices.

- Rita
Moreno

Self-Mastery

Why not start small.

Make it a Personal Challenge or a Goal Experiment. See what happens if you do turn off your phone for 1 night. If you miss a 2 am message, can you respond to it when you wake up refreshed and ready for the day? Is it WORTH waking up in the middle of the night, disrupting your body clock and struggling to fall asleep afterward?

Stretch yourself Use timers

Try doing this on a certain day of the week, then pick another day, then another. Maybe try controlling your WIFI by programing your electrical outlets to cut off the power to your router at a certain time, like midnight. That really helped me back in the day when I was tempted to watch Netflix late at night. When the movie would freeze at midnight, I had to respect my own decision.

If all this fails, one thing that can help you at least with mobile devices is turning off notification sounds. That way when the phone is out of sight, you can at least have a few minutes without distractions. I personally use DND (Do Not Disturb) as a habit these days. Yes I do miss some calls, but so what :)

DND is my Next Best Friend

One mindset obstacle I had to overcome is that I would inconvenience people, miss their messages, calls or emails. People WILL WAIT. They know perfectly well that you HAVE A LIFE, and that you're NOT by your phone 100% of the time, or, at least you shouldn't be :) So, get over yourself, you're not THAT IMPORTANT, they will leave a message or voicemail, and you will get back to them, LATER!

Benefits of Setting Limits

1. It's empowering. You will respect yourself for sticking to your own decision. You will gain confidence that you have the self-discipline to do the right thing, because you already knew it was the right thing to do anyways.

2. Respect from Others. A bit contra-intuitive, but you'll see that people will actually respect your time MORE. Event if they initially complain, they will quickly learn that if they need you, an advanced notice would be much appreciated. All my friends know that about me!

3. More Time. This is an obvious one. Batching anything saves time. Checking all the messages during your breaks will take less time than checking them one by one sporadically. You'll also accomplish other tasks in less time without distractions hence buying out even more time. What has worked for you so far? I'd love to hear...
