ABOUT CANADIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY CIT HISTORY The University College “Canadian Institute of Technology“ (UC “CIT”) was established in 2011. Since its foundation, UC “CIT” is driven by the philosophy of providing potential students with the necessary and competitive skills, demanded by the Albanian and Balkan region, as well as the European and NorthAmerican labour markets.

The curricula entirely in English makes it possible for UC “CIT” to use the latest teaching materials, supporting its philosophy to guide students in their knowledge and professional path.

The Master of Science in Big Data covers the technology of Big Data and the science of data analytics.

Big data is increasingly important in today’s commercial landscape. As a data scientist specializing in big data, you’ll help companies make sense of large amounts of structured and unstructured data, providing rapid insights that enable them to make better, quicker decisions. You’ll gain practical skills in big data technology, advanced analytics and industrial and scientific applications.

The program focuses on how to collect, manage and analyze big, fast moving data for science or commerce. You will learn skills in cutting-edge technology such as Python, R, Hadoop, NoSQL and Machine Learning. TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN

The Master of Science in Telecommunication Engineering is a two-year program within the Industrial Engineering Department that combines electrical and computer engineering (hardware and software engineering) to design and implement telecommunication systems.

Telecommunication technology deals with the transmission of information (signals, fixed images, videos, data, etc.) from entity to entity or entities through free space or cables (fiber optics, coaxial, and twisted pair cables) while maintaining the quality of transmitted information.

The program in Telecommunication Engineering at CIT offers modern theoretical and practical knowledge in telecommunication systems.

You will learn how to deal with optical and wireless communications, mobile broadband network and project management.
