B.Sc ID (B.Sc Interior Design)

The three year undergraduate curriculum is designed by the university to prepare the student to meet the requirements of jobs offered by all kinds of organisations related to this eld, such as architectural, interior design, event management, accessories design, lm studio, TV and theatres, furniture, 3d visualisation centresetc.Theprogrammedeliveryisplannedtoprecision for three years with its academic lessons, studio activities, design contests, presentations, creative sessions, marketing research, internal exams, internships and so forth.

The syllabus discusses the subject fundamentals of design, colour and lighting, furniture in interiors, soft furnishings, planning the living space, design concepts, draughtsmanship, oriculture, building components and materials, landscaping, basics in architecture, interior and exterior treatment, applied arts, communication skills, computer aided drafting, housekeeping and management, etc...

Admission preference for B.Sc ID shall be given to the aspirants who have qualied the iDAT (Interior Design AptitudeTest)andtheshortlistedcandidateswillbeadvised toattendastudiotestandinterview.

D-Arch is designed to introduce aspirants to engineering application of multimedia systems, tools and technologies and their application in creating architectural models, beautiful illustrations and virtual tours. The curriculum also encourages the student to explore digital models of building structures, interior and exterior, colour and lightings, furniture and xtures, surface and textures, various spaces and complex modelling methods.

DID (Diploma In Interior Design )

TheDIDcourseprovidesonewithabasicunderstandingofdesign planning and practice within a year The course is imparted both theoretically and practically, strengthening the application aspect of elements in an interior setup. Individual one to one interaction is established in practical aspects, beginning from the very basics such as literally holding a pencil to draw a line, gradually shaping the student’s draughtsman skill to perfection over the course duration. Towards this end, the programme is structured to provide a good grounding in theory and adequate practice in the core areas of architectural rendering with theaidofleadingdesignsoftware. Ÿ
