4-Day ITINERARY
Day 1
1. Breakfast at La Panaderia. features fresh Sandwiches, Bread, Desserts, Pastries, Cakes & Coffee all in an open bakery.
2. Immerse yourself in the number one attraction in Texas with a narrated barge tour of the worldfamous River Walk . Available at various times throughout the month, the San Antonio African American Community Archive Museum (SAAACAM) provides a Black History River Tour. This hour-and-a-half tour dives into our city’s Black history, historic sites, and much more. Check with SAAACAM for dates and times.
3. Next, travel to "The HEART of Texas” the Alamo Walk in the footsteps of heroes on a one-hour battlefield tour.
4. Hungry? Grab a bite at Buckhorn Saloon & Texas Ranger Museum, where they have been proudly serving cowboys and cowgirls alike since 1881. Afterwards, walk it off and take a tour of their vast exotic animal collection and The Texas Ranger Museum.
5. After lunch, head over to the King Williams District let’s swing by a vibrant community devoted to German heritage, culture, and preservation called the The Beethoven Männerchor
6. End the night at Tejas Rodeo Company where they hold live rodeos every Saturday night from March – November. You can also eat like a Texan at Tejas Steakhouse & Saloon and enjoy fun, and entertainment for all.
DAY 2
1. Stroll over to San Fernando Cathedral, the oldest, continuously functioning religious community in the State of Texas. Need a step-on-guide? Check these guys out. MOV Tours, San Antonio Pro Tour, or the PTGA Association.
2. With over 300 years of history, there is no shortage of places to see and things to learn. Take a short drive to San José, a Spanish Colonial Mission and also a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.
3. Shop, Eat and Explore over 25 shops and galleries that showcase local handmade goods at La Villita
4. Cruise the river on a Go Rio river tax to the Pearl for dining and shopping.
5. Once there, head over to the Bottling Department, where you will find a modern Pearl Brewery food hall with diverse chef-driven stands, a wine bar & courtyard seating.
6. Head back downtown to witness the facade of the cathedral transform with lights, music, and visual arts depicting the historical discovery, settlement, and development of San Antonio, our wonderful Lone Star State, and the United States through The SAGA | San Antonio.
DAY 3
1. Load up, sit back and prepare for some amazing views of the Texas roaming Hill Country.
2. Fredericksburg, the heart of Texas Wine Country, with over 70 wineries, vineyards, & tasting rooms located throughout Fredericksburg & Gillespie County.
3. Next, hike on over to Enchanted Rock – An internationally designated Dark Sky Park, Enchanted Rock is the second largest batholith in the U.S. and is estimated to be one billion years old. Take part in hiking, camping, stargazing and more as you enjoy views of the Texas Hill Country that will take your breath away.
4. Luckenbach - Come out and soak in the relaxing atmosphere of Luckenbach, Texas. Established in 1849 as a trading post and made internationally famous by country western performers Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings, live Texas music can be heard daily in the bar or under the old oak trees, with weekend dances and concerts in the historic dance hall. “Everybody’s Somebody in Luckenbach."
DAY 4
1. Enjoy the outdoors and year-round events at the San Antonio Botanical Garden.
2. Drive your way to the King William Historic District, a Victorian-inspired neighborhood filled with history, charm, and friendly locals. Make sure to stop by and visit and take tours of the beautiful homes named Steve’s Homestead and Villa Finale
3. Lastly, enjoy dinner at Chart House Restaurant located in the Tower of Americas where you’ll take in sky-high views from the observation deck.

Take home memories with a two-hour hands-on tamale-making experience, paired with traditional Tex-Mex and Mexican foods. The tour includes a demonstration of tamale-making techniques, ingredient details, and the history of the tamalada. Participants will also learn about various moles (sauces) for festive meals while making their own tamales. Afterward, enjoy a full meal of tamales, two moles, guacamole, totopos, rice, beans, and cookies for dessert. Water and soft drinks are included, with a full cash bar available.
Additional option: Prior to the tamalada, enjoy a professionally guided tour (approximately 1 hour) of the nearby Mission San Jose, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

MOTOR COACH REGULATIONS
Please help us keep our city clean, safe and beautiful by following these Motor coach Regulations (which includes Char ter and Sightseeing vehicles).
Motor Coaches may discharge waste only at permitted facilities Under City ordinance, illegal dumping on land or in waterways is prohibited. Violators will
Motor Coaches may only load and/or unload passengers at the numbered
areas at hotels, restaurants and other attractions. The loading and/or unloading of passengers should be completed as expeditiously as possible and should not exceed 30 minutes.
Motor Coaches may not park or stand anywhere except in these designated areas.
While in the parking areas, Motor Coaches may not idle engines for more than 10 minutes prior to their time of departure. Under certain weather conditions Motor Coaches will be allowed to idle their engines longer.
To ensure the safety of the riding public on double-decker buses, children 10 or younger may only be allowed on the upper level when accompanied by an adult. Passengers are not allowed to stand In the upper level of a double-decker bus while the bus is moving.
