The City of Eaton is fortunate to be home to a variety of parks and recreational facilities which encompass over 200 acres of land, each offering something unique and valuable to our community. We encourage our residents and visitors to enjoy all our parks.
Fort St. Clair Park: Features historical monuments, a playground, cabin rentals for events, picnic shelters, picnic tables, grills, nature trails and restrooms, and the 18hole Whispering Oak Disc Golf Course.
Seven Mile Park: Features soccer fields, walking paths, restrooms and playground, picnic tables, benches and a picnic shelter.
Main Street Aquatic Center: Features a splashpad, zero-depth entry activity pool, dumping buckets, two large waterslides, lap lanes, picnic shelter and concession stand.
Crystal Lake/Roberts Bridge: Roberts Bridge is the oldest remaining double-barrel bridge in Ohio and the second oldest covered bridge in the U.S. Adjacent to Crystal Lake, the park nearby features a gazebo, fishing, picnic tables and benches.
Waterworks Park: Features a playground, shelter, picnic tables, restrooms, and a Bark Park for your 4-legged friends. Coming soon - a major park expansion including new restroom/shelter facilities, new playground, walking trail, and outdoor fitness equipment!
Clarence E. Hook Memorial Park: Features playground, walking trail, shelter and picnic tables.
Blakeman Fields: This recreational youth baseball park features 5 baseball fields

The City of Eaton offers several facilities available for rent which are perfect for parties, reunions, and special events. Park shelters throughout Eaton’s public parks provide scenic outdoor spaces ideal for gatherings during the warmer months. At historic Fort St. Clair, visitors can rent the log cabins offering rustic charm in a wooded setting, perfect for birthdays, family celebrations, or small receptions. Additionally, the Eaton Youth Center is a versatile indoor venue which can accommodate larger family and community events year-round.



Our parks offer six spacious park shelters, perfect for hosting outdoor events and making memories. Each shelter provides plenty of shaded seating and is conveniently located near park amenities. Park shelters are available for reservation daily, April 1-Oct. 15, for a $10/hour fee. (2-hour minimum rental applies.)
Surrounded by the beauty of Fort St. Clair Park, we have two cabins conveniently located near playground and restroom facilities as well as a nearby creek, making them ideal for families and guests of all ages. Cabins are available for reservation April 1-Oct. 1 each year for $50 for the first hour, $10 each additional hour.
The Youth Center, located at 306 Seven Mile Drive (corner of W. Decatur Street/Park Avenue) is available for private party rentals. It has its own dedicated parking area, and a building capacity of 137 people. There is a full kitchen and restrooms in addition to 20 banquet tables and 80 chairs available. Rental fee is $50 for the first hour, $20 for each additional hour.
