The newly completed Regional Athletic Complex is the ideal athletic facility to meet the needs of the immediate community, regional/state tournaments, as well as providing a family friendly site for passive recreation with picnic areas, trails, and play equipment. With a spectacular view of Mt Rainier, the 78-acre site is defined by two large open space athletic areas, separated by a large natural passive use open area. There are six soccer fields on the east side. The western portion of the site includes a five field pin-wheel softball/baseball complex with concessions building and play equipment. At the center of the site, the intense athletic areas give way to passive uses which include play areas, basketball courts and looped trails, used by joggers, walkers, and children learning to ride bicycles.
