What is a love lock?

Two of the largest love lock

Love locks are a symbol of love and commitment where lovers lock a padlock on a chain, gate or sculpture and then throw away the key, symbolically locking their love forever. Love locks have gained attention around the world from being placed on bridges and public places in Paris, on New York’s Brooklyn Bridge, Cologne’s Hohenzollern Bridge and more. Loveland’s love lock sculptures are a chance to give the love lock tradition new life through art and sculpture.

DESSERTS

Cupcake Gypsies

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory

These s**t cupcakes may have a funny name but pack in some serious chocolate flavor.

With the main ingredient being apples, they must not be a dessert, right?

Dairy Delite Mary’s Mountain Cookies The cookies here are amazing, but get a scoop of ice cream for an even more decadent treat.

This Loveland staple has been making desserts for over 40 years and is a perfect stop after a hike.

Sip Your Dessert Coffee Tree This local favorite offers amazing lattes but also has great food options.

Dark Heart Coffee Bar A cool vibe, specialty drinks and a selection of local desserts makes this a must-visit.

Scripted Bar & Kitchen What’s the only thing that could make a s’mores shake better? A shot of alcohol added in. 45
