This is an angler’s paradise!
T
he various streams and creeks in El Dorado County hold more trout than most people think. You can find a map showing all of the named streams and creeks on the west slope of El Dorado County simply by visiting eldoradotu.org. Once there you can select your favorite stream, then check the fish index attached which shows you the type of trout you can expect to find on the end of your line when fishing that water. All streams that drain into the American River watershed are open year round with certain restrictions.
