Tenant’s guarantee Garantie locative May not exceed 2 months’ rent. Must be lodged in a bank account opened in the name of the tenant and may not be released except with the agreement of both parties or by a judgement in case of conflict. Interest earned on the guarantee will be the property of the tenant when he leaves the property. The guarantee is used to cover any damage which the tenant may cause to the rented property or failure to abide by the rental termination clauses. You should never pay cash in hand. Normally, you will be given the guarantee back at the end of your lease, after the final inventory.

Elle ne peut excéder 2 mois de loyer. Doit être déposée sur un compte bancaire ouvert au nom du locataire et ne peut être débloquée qu’avec l’accord des 2 parties ou après jugement en cas de conflit. Les intérêts de la garantie seront la propriété du locataire au moment où il quittera le logement. La garantie sert à couvrir d’éventuels dégâts que le locataire occasionnerait au bien loué ou le non respect des clauses de rupture de bail. Ne payez jamais de la main à la main. Normalement, vous récupérerez la garantie à la fin du bail après l’état des lieux.
