WASTE BIN, SKIP, CONTAINER MANUFACTURING Sellers Containers designs, manufactures and supplies high-quality metal waste bins, skips and containers, delivering innovative solutions and servicing a diverse range of industries, while providing a premium service.

From the universally recognised builder’s skip to those that meet more specialist and bespoke requirements, our team assesses, engineers and manufactures smart solutions for our full range of waste bins, skips, containers and other products, to meet any requirement.

All our bins, skips and containers adhere to CHEM and/or Deutsches Institut fĂźr Normung (DIN) standards, ensuring that each unit is built to the highest standards in both safety and quality. We work closely with our clients to guarantee they get the right product for their needs.

We hold stock for short lead times and offer customised commercial waste bins, as well as industrial and municipal skips and containers to suit any unique requirements, with a wide range of our products comprising bespoke work. This bespoke service includes products like our Solar Compaction and Fill Level Bins, Nesting Containers, and more.

To maximise opportunities for recycling, we use 100% recycled polymers in our plastic lids wherever possible, as we move towards a Circular Economy.

They come as standard with channel supports which cradle the floor and sides of the container. Containers can be tailored with the addition of extra under-floor channels to meet heavy-duty specifications if required.

They come as standard with channel supports which cradle the floor and sides of the container. This is the most economical swaged container in our range.

ENCLOSED HOOKLIFT CONTAINERS Sellers Containers offers a range of enclosure options for the full container range.

We can provide a number of roof options, from rolling roofs and PVC sheeting systems, to curtainsiders and hydraulic roofs.

The fixed curved steel roof is our most commonly used enclosed container option.

The fixed curved steel roof is built using lightweight RHS spars, formed into an arc, which is then cladded with an overlapping 1.5mm steel sheet, designed to give a permanent watertight strong roof and eliminating pockets of water collecting on the roof.

Enclosed containers are a great solution for recycling containers, such as bottle banks and paper banks, or as a solution to keep contained goods dry and to prevent bad odours from leaking.

SHEETING SYSTEM ENCLOSED CONTAINERS Sellers Containers offers a heavy-duty sheeting system to cover all our open top roll-on-roll-off containers.

The Sheeting System Enclosed Container sheets are made from PVC-coated high tensile polyester, and the sheet rolls over two curved roof sections fitted to the front and rear of the container. It is designed with a tube fitted through the centre of the sheet, which is used to wrap the sheet up when opened. Another tube is fitted through the end of the sheet to form a ridged edge for pulling the sheet closed.

Nylon straps are fixed to open and close the ratchet locks, and the sheet can be opened and closed by one operator at the front of the container.

We also offer an electronically operated solar powered Sheeting System.

CURTAIN SIDED CONTAINERS The Curtain Sided Containers are ideal for customers looking to transport goods that require consistent access throughout their journey.

The Curtain Sided Containers are fitted with two heavy-duty curtains down both sides of the container to provide easy access from either side; the curtains are secured by ratchet operated tie down straps when closed. The containers come fitted with a central pole and four sunken lashing rings on each side of the floor, to allow clients to secure their loads with lashing ratchet straps.

SELLERS DRYING CONTAINERS Sellers Drying Containers are specifically built for the carriage and storage of wet materials, like woodchip, agricultural and non-recyclable waste, and more. This solution is designed to allow such materials to be converted into usable resources, such as fuel or fertiliser, by means of containerised drying.

Our drying containers come in several builds, whether you require a false floor for vertical drying; perforated sides with internal drying frames to allow air to ventilate up and out for quicker drying; or even implementing all drying solutions for optimal drying conditions, each drying container is tailored and manufactured to your specific requirements.

They come as standard with channel supports which cradle the floor and sides of the container. The container plate thickness specifications can be tailored according to the application and duty of the container. These come with the option of adding aperture fixtures, either the standard pins and PVC sheet, or secondary steel door fitted to fully cover the aperture.

The unique tapered shape of the containers, sides and roof is designed for ease of emptying, with curved sides and roof plates with overlapped sides plates for additional strength.

It comes with the option of adding aperture fixtures, either the standard pins and PVC sheet, or secondary steel door fitted to fully cover the aperture.

NESTING CONTAINERS The Nesting Container range is designed to assist our customers in minimising costs by nesting containers within each other. This unique feature is particularly useful for customers in the export business, as you can fit up to four containers on each load, compared with the standard two containers per load, resulting in less loads sent, and less money spent.

To further optimise your deliveries, you can also fit smaller products such as Sellers WasteSafes inside the inner stacked container, making the most of your journey.

COTTAGE CONTAINERS Sellers Cottage Container, or more commonly known as Asbestos Container, was originally made as a solution for asbestos storage, with its fully enclosed design built to prevent disturbances.

The Cottage Containers have two openings covered by plastic lids on both sides of the container, which are locked by linchpins and can be padlocked, with rear doors operated by a twin bar locking system.

The Cottage Containers are designed to have easy access side doors, allowing you to place waste inside the container with ease from ground level.

We also offer a stackable version, designed in-house, allowing a 26YD3 container to sit within the 32YD3 to maximise transportation costs.

ISO CONTAINERS Sellers Containers’ ISO Containers are used for intermodal transportation of waste – this means that they can be used across several modes of transport, including trucks, trains and ships.

Our ISO Containers are built in accordance with BS ISO 668:1995 with a tapered body to assist with discharge and 6mm floor plates with 10mm off pressed channel cradles for superior floor support.

Our ISO Containers come available with either a top hung primary door with double secondary doors, or a single side hung door with single side hung secondary door.

We have a specialist jig which is used to set out the corner block fittings and frame, which are then stress tested for safety.

WALKING FLOOR® CONTAINERS Sellers Containers are working with KEITH® Manufacturing Co., an established provider of horizontal loading and unloading solutions for bulk material handling, in manufacturing our Walking Floor® Containers.

The Walking Floor® Containers alleviate the need for tipping to unload, therefore resulting in increased site safety and cost savings by reducing the need for on-site tipping machinery, while achieving quick unloading times.

The design comprises hardwearing underfloor hydraulic floor slats that are directly connected to the flooring of the container, ensuring a slender and durable design.

This container can be used to transport and unload almost any material in a safe and reliable manner.

The Walking Floor® Container is ideal for a vast range of industries, including waste management and recycling, agriculture, aggregates and asphalts, wood products and energy production.

FALSE FLOOR CONTAINERS The False Floor Container is ideal for storage and transportation of swarf metal.

Designed to separate the soluble coolant from the solid swarf, False Floor Containers are built with a perforated floor to drain the coolant off the swarf, which can be drained via the sumps fitted to the door and headboard. Once separated, the dry swarf and coolant can then be safely recycled and reused.

The False Floor Containers are also fitted with a profiled one-piece seal around the door and across the false floor frame to prevent leakages.

The False Floor Containers can be fitted with either a top hung tipper tailgate door, or a single side hung door, and are available with any of our standard roof options to keep the contents dry.

DOUBLE ENDED DOOR CONTAINERS The Sellers Containers Double Ended Door Container is suitable for sites with limited space.

The Double Ended Door Containers are built to the same standard as our swaged range, with uprights, but fitted with flat sides and two doors – the standard door at the roller end and an inbuilt door at the headboard end, which sits within the headboard frame.

The Double Ended Door Container is secured by heavy-duty locking, including four lugs operated by ratchet turnbuckle and four hinges.

Our Double Ended Door Containers can be open top or can be fitted with one of our roof options. The container can also be fitted with stabilisers or an extra set of rollers at the A-Frame end.

The Double Ended Door Containers are also available with internal steps at the headboard end for easy accessibility.

PLANTSAFE CONTAINERS The Sellers Containers Plantsafe Container is custom designed for off-site works where our clients need to store their machinery and equipment, ideal for unsecure locations.

The Plantsafe Container can be transported to site and placed on the ground where the customer can then walk in with valuable equipment or drive plant in for secure overnight storage.

Our Plantsafe Containers are fitted with twin doors on one end, which are lockable internally by two heavy-duty sliding lockable bars. The side personnel door then locks into place and can only be opened with a special key.

For additional security, the Plantsafe Container also has internal lashing rings along the sides.

SUMP/SLUDGE CONTAINERS The Sellers Containers Sump/Sludge Containers are made for safe transportation of sludge and other types of sewage/water-based liquids.

The Sump/Sludge Containers are available in both swaged and smooth-sided builds in any of the standard sizes.

The containers come with two sumps fitted to the headboard or door for easy release of waste. The containers are also fitted with a profiled one-piece seal and tipper tailgate door with extra cattle clamps or ramp fasteners for additional security to prevent any leakages.

Optional extras include semi-enclosed roof and an inner ramp to the door to further prevent leakages.

HAZARDOUS WASTE CONTAINERS Sellers Containers manufactures a range of specialised walk-in Hazardous Waste Containers, available in a variety of sizes with several build options, from the double door ventilated container, complete with or without storage shelves, to the newly designed door within door container, which has a tipper tailgate door fitted for easy tipping, along with a personnel door to allow for easy walk-in loading.

Regardless of the door arrangement, all our Hazardous Waste Containers can be padlocked shut for security. The personnel door is operated by shoot bolt locking with the option to padlock shut.

Our Hazardous Waste Containers can be fitted with ventilation for use of toxic materials like solvents and oils.

WATER TANKS Sellers Containers Water Tanks are designed for storage and transportation of water and other liquids.

The Water Tanks come in a variety of build options, including the completely enclosed container, which has no door and is fully welded both inside and outside, making it leak proof, and comes fitted with extra floor support blocks to stabilise the load when full.

Our Water Tanks come with heavy-duty top rails and thicker plates as a standard to better withstand pressure water when full. Sealed tipper tailgate doors fitted as standard where a door is required.

All Water Tanks are built to your requirements, whether you need sumps for easy release of liquids, or inlet pipes to fill the container.

SELLERS MULTI-STACK BUILDERS SKIPS Our most popular skip is the redesigned builders skip, designed to allow more skips to be stacked within each other and maximise load quantities for transportation.

The Sellers Multi-Stack Builders Skip has a tapered body for easy stacking, double side rails for strength, and internal gussets welded in each corner for rigidity, as well as wrap around plates fitted on the external corners for additional strength.

All section joints are mitred and fully welded and the skip comes with 32mm diameter tipping bars supported by 6mm plates fitted on both ends.

The Sellers Economy Builders Skip’s lean design is built with fully welded drop forged Meiller lifting lugs through channel, and a 6mm backing plate. The build includes internal gussets welded in each corner for rigidity, as well as wrap around plates fitted on the external corners for additional strength and 32mm diameter tipping bars supported by 6mm plates fitted on both ends.

HEAVY-DUTY BUILDERS SKIPS The Heavy-Duty Builders Skip is a popular option for heavy-duty applications and is best suited for scrap metal and demolition waste.

The Heavy-Duty Builders Skip is tapered for stacking and has double rails made of thicker channel for extra strength. It comes with the same features as our standard builders skip but is built with a thicker plate and stronger channel.

We also provide tailored solutions with a variety of options to further strengthen your skip, such as fitted floor angles, 6mm floors, as well as an option to fit lifting eyes, which will be load tested for safety.

FRONT END LOAD (FEL) SKIPS – TOP/SIDE HUNG The Front End Load (FEL) Skips – Top/Side Hung containers are fitted as standard with skip lifting lugs and underfloor pockets.

The smaller 2 and 4YD3 FELs are available with the option of heavy-duty castors for manoeuvrability. Castors are supplied as two fixed and two swivels with brakes.

All sizes come available with the option of a skip tipping bar for use on skip loader vehicles.

The FEL Skip is fitted with two double skinned plastic lids as standard available in both side and top hinged variants. The side hinged lids are designed to prevent wind scatter and load sticking when opened from a chute.

REAR END LOAD (REL) SKIPS The REL containers are designed for use with rear end loading vehicles. The REL Skips can be open or fully enclosed with a choice of plastic lids, steel lids or a PVC sheet cover.

It comes with unique features, ensuring each skip is strong and durable, often outlasting customer expectations.

The REL has double skinned plastic lids fitted to the front end and comes with lid opening handles as a standard. Lids are double hinged and fold back onto the roof of the skip when emptying. The REL is fitted with front stabilisers to prevent front end tipping forward if incorrectly loaded. REL Skips are also equipped with underfloor runners to prevent corrosion of floor plate.

SELLERS WASTESAFE Sellers WasteSafe is an intermediate bulk container (IBC), fully welded and galvanised. The WasteSafe is manufactured with a 3mm base, a 120mm by 80mm by 5mm box section and pressed angle frame, fitted with stacking blocks and internal fork pockets made from press steel.

The WasteSafe box section top rim is designed with four vertical corner angles, 25mm by 3mm to form the frame where the 2mm side plates are welded, resulting in a highly rigid and extremely strong box. The frame has top lifting and stacking corner fittings, designed to be used with other IBC containers with the same capacity and footprint.

The neoprene rubber sealed lid is hinged and fitted with springs for easy opening, and can be held with a lid restraint arm, or opened complete and held back against the rear face of the body.

The WasteSafe lid locks are over-centre type and fitted with safety catches and padlocking options.

4-WHEELED BINS Sellers Containers 4-Wheeled Bins are hot-dip galvanised in zinc for maximum corrosion protection.

Our 4-Wheeled Bins are fitted with four heavy-duty steel-centred 200mm diameter rubber tyre castors. The two rear castors are swivel and the two front castors have foot-pedal operated brakes.

The front receiving comb lifting bars are made of single rolled section for strength and are fitted with EN 14803 compliant receptacle in the Comb Bar to accommodate an RFID chip.

SELLERS LAMPBOX The Sellers Lampbox is designed for storage and transportation of fluorescent tubes.

We supply two variants of lampboxes (standard and heavy-duty) that are constructed with a minimum 50x50 RSA frame and fitted with underfloor fork pockets. Sellers Lampboxes are fitted with underfloor fork pockets and single side hinged doors, fitted with an antiluce fastener to also accommodate a padlock for securing content.

TEXTILE BANKS The Sellers Containers Textile Banks are designed for safe collection of textiles or shoes. The Textile Banks have a strong, but lightweight build, providing security, durability and utility.

Our Textile Banks come with a front hinged door fitted with a unique secure bullet lock. The bullet lock is encased in a steel cover for enhanced security.

The Textile Banks are built with a hinged curved loading hatch, which is pulled forward to deposit the load then pushed back to drop the load into the container.

This is designed to prevent scavenging as an added safety element.

TIPPING HOPPERS Sellers Containers have advanced the conventional dumping hoppers with the auto release Tipping Hoppers.

Used to temporarily store materials so that they can be dumped easily, the Tipping Hoppers steel tipping bucket rolls on 11mm thick guide plates, and comes equipped with unique features to ensure each hopper is strong and durable, outlasting customers expectations.

Our Tipping Hoppers’ automatic release system operates via a spring-loaded buffer which – when in contact with a hard surface, i.e. the edge of a receptacle container – releases the loaded bucket by rolling forward. The emptied bucket then rolls back into the locked position after tipping. This is fully operated by the vehicle eliminating risk to the operator.

Manual release handles are available for when receptacle container is not available.

SELLERS TRACKING DEVICES To offer peace of mind and help monitor your fleet Sellers can now fit tracking devices to our containers, these Long Life Battery Powered Telematics Units are discreetly positioned within the headboard bolster of the container. They have been strategically placed here to minimise the risk of any damage and we have specifically designed and implemented a vented housing to allow the unit to have sufficient GPS coverage.

Each Long Life Battery Powered Telematics Unit comes with a five- to seven-year battery life dependent upon the configuration to provide one or two location position pings per day. The positions are then reported to Online software which can be accessed via PC or remotely utilising the mobile phone application.

The software has a range of features from a list view giving the positions of your containers to a map and satellite view which show the positions of your containers based off the last location ping.

REFURBISHMENTS & CONVERSIONS Sellers Containers offers a full refurbishment service for your bins, skips and containers.

Whether your containers or skips need a complete repair job, anything from cross members and sub-frames, to smaller fixes like top rails, rollers or bale bar replacement, or if your container just needs a quick fix to make it look better with a shotblast and repaint, we can do it all!

We also convert containers from open to enclosed containers with a range of roof options and convert compaction and enclosed containers into open tops.

All products brought into us for refurbishment and conversion work are inspected by a dedicated refurbishment specialist before any work commences. The customer will then be informed of any safety issues that we suggest are repaired on the container during inspection in order to ensure operator safety.

Collection and delivery, to and from site, is available if required.
