Marriage has been established by God, and setup to be a holy union before God. God is disappointed with those who break his marriage covenant (Malachi 2:14-16) “You ask, “Why? “ It is because the Lord is acting as the witness between you and the wife of your youth, because you have broken faith with her, though she is your partner, the wife of your marriage covenant. Has not the Lord made them one? In flesh and spirit they are his. And why one? Because he was seeking godly offspring. So guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith with the wife of your youth. “I hate divorce,” says the Lord God of Israel,” and I hate man covering himself with violence, as well as with his garment, says the Lord Almighty. So guard yourself in your spirit and do not break faith.

Guard yourself in spirit and do not break faith means, to have the same commitment to marriage that God has to his promises with his people.

Sinfulness of Humanity – God’s Wrath against Mankind The Bible says, (Malachi 1:18) “The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness. Same sex marriages (Homosexuality) is in fact a sin. What is Homosexuality? (To exchange or abandon natural relations of sex) Why does homosexuality exist today? The Bible says that man exchanged God’s truth for a lie, and men abandoned natural relations with women, and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion (Malachi 1: 26-27) even woman exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones, and has chosen to worship created things rather than the Creator.” Because of this God gave them over to shameful lust, and a depraved mind.
