Before you get started

Before you get started on your hanging our prints in your store, make sure you have the following tools ready. These simple items will make creating your art wall as simple as can be.

• Pen or pencil.

• Grided paper.

• Measuring tape.

• Nails or screws.

• Wall plugs.

• Hammer or drill.

• A spirit level, if required.

Measuring

A good place to start is measuring how much space you have to work with. It’s helpful to create some to-scale mock-ups of your art wall before hanging up your frames.

There are two ways to go about this:

1. Use grided paper to draw to scale the wall you will use, along with the artworks you wish to hang. A good start is to make each square equal 10 cm, so a 50x70 cm frame is 5 x 7 squares on your gridded paper, and so on.

2. Another great way to measure and test your art wall is by using tape on the floor to mark out all frames and the size of the wall you are using.

Small Wall

Products: 30x40 cm, 50x70 cm

Try hanging three prints in an organic layout. These can be made up of our 30x40 cm and 50x70 cm frames.

Tip: Leave around 5-10 cm of breathing space between each poster. 120 cm 110 cm

Medium Wall

Products: 30x40 cm, 50x70 cm

Try hanging three prints in an organic layout. These can be made up of our 30x40 cm and 50x70 cm frames.

Tip: Remember the frame is 2 cm wider than the poster. For example, if the poster is 50x70 cm, when placed inside the frame in total it will measure 52x72 cm.

Big Wall

Products: 30x40 cm, 50x70 cm, 70x100 cm Don’t be afraid of colour! Mix and match our artwork and be playful.

Tip: Place the nail 7,5 cm below the top of the frame to get the desired placement. 105 cm

Shelf Wall

Products: 30x40 cm, 50x70 cm, 70x100 cm

An alternative to hanging our products on your walls is placing them on a shelf. It’s less commitment and you are able to rotate our products more often.

Tip: By placing our products on a shelf it makes it easier to take down and show customers the frames in their entirety.
