Amniotic Membrane

A Comprehensive Solution for Corneal Injury Treatment

How It Works

The amniotic membrane is fixed to a nitrocellulose membrane, where the chorion of the amniotic membrane adheres to the carrier. The membrane is preserved in a solution of 50% glycerol and 5% human albumin, ensuring its stability and efficacy during storage and use.

Indications for Use:

• Keratitis of different origins

• Corneal erosions and ulcers

• Bullous keratopathy

• Mechanical and chemical eye injuries

• Corneal perforation and lysis

• Fornix adhesions

Packaging and Storage

Each tissue is individually packaged in a glass bottle with a rubber stopper and aluminum cap, ensuring sterility. The product is stored in a secondary foil package and a tertiary outer package for maximum protection.

Storage Temperature: -40°C or lower

Shelf Life: 2 years from tissue processing, when stored at -40°C or lower.

Instructions for Use:

• Place the glass bottle on a flat surface.

• Allow the membrane to thaw completely at room temperature for at least 10 minutes.

• Apply to the affected area as directed by your healthcare professional.

What is the Amniotic Membrane?

The amniotic membrane is derived from placental tissue and is rich in proteins, growth factors, cytokines, and other molecules that have proven therapeutic potential in treating corneal injuries. It is a completely biological material, offering a natural solution for a variety of eye conditions.

Key Benefits:

• Accelerates healing of corneal injuries

• Reduces inflammation

• Promotes tissue regeneration

• Reduces the risk of scarring
