How to calculate the well-being of society? Why not to measure a country’s richness through the Gross National Happiness indexes rather than with the Gross Domestic Product (GDP)? What does Well-Being entail, this new political concept based on the quality of life and introduced by some countries of the world, like Bhutan and Bolivia, as an alternative to the logic of capitalist development? Some answers to these questions are clarified in “International Forum for Well-Being by the Youth Press Agency”.
The publication includes articles and interviews with some of the protagonists at the international event “International Forum for Well-Being” held for the first time in Europe from 6th to 8th June 2018 in Grenoble, in the French Alps. Among these, Sylvie Bukhari-de Pontual and Patrick Viveret (France), Method Gundidza (Zimbabwe), Dasho Karma Ura (Bhutan), Asier Ansorena (Brasile) and Pablo Solón (Bolivia).
