Marble’s strength or leather’s grace

The desk is available with two distinct hovering worktops. One, designed to age gracefully, is crafted from refined Italian aniline leather in Bosco green paired with a walnut frame, or in camel leather combined with light oak. The other option features Ocean grey marble, distinguished by white veins and natural beauty marks, such as fossils, that create a sophisticated play of colour. Made from Dolomite stone, which is more resistant than traditional marble, this durable stone top is ideal for a desk that will withstand daily use.

Storage that slides in

A new retrofittable drawer is introduced, available in both walnut and light oak. Designed to be mounted on either the left or right side, the drawer adds a practical yet refined storage solution to the Studio desk. Even with two drawers installed, one on each side, there’s still space to comfortably position a Swivel chair between them.

Elegant frame in polished aluminum

Made to match the Vipp Swivel chairs, the desk features a casted aluminium frame and joints that mirror those found on the chair.

360-degree perspective

Made to be viewed from all angles, whether freestanding or placed against a wall.

PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS & MAINTENANCE

CHARACTERISTICS

Marble stone

Is a natural material, and each marble plate is inimitable. Varied visual expressions of the marble are to be expected.

Ocean Grey marble

The grey stone is a dolomite which is a hard and resistant marble. Vipp Ocean grey is a type of limestone which is compacted over millions of years, leaving a lot of details, like white veins, red marks from iron and minerals, glass veins, and long ‘cracks’ from ancient earthquakes which are filled with resin. The stone has shades of grey varying from light grey to dark grey. Fossils and other natural marks are often seen which gives the stone a nice play.

Finish

Honed (matte) and sealed with natural impregnation slightly enhancing the colour yet leaving a protected and matte surface.

MAINTENANCE

Marble stain removal

Remove the stain immediately using a lint-free cleaning cloth with warm water and a mild detergent. Avoid using dusting sprays or abrasive cleaners. In case of serious damage contact a professional polisher.

Polished aluminium surfaces

Keep surfaces clean and dry. No acidy or abrasive cleaning agents can be used. Clean using a glass cleaning agent and polish with a dry clean cloth to remove any marks and residue from the cleaning agent.

Leather

The aniline leather is natural and untreated, allowing its surface to display subtle marks and perfect imperfections that highlight its authenticity and character.

Solid wood

Crafted from solid wood, each frame and drawer is unique. Variations in grain, tone, and lightness are natural characteristics - no two pieces are ever the same.

Frame and legs

The four-legged frame is made from polished and passivated aluminium. The surface is susceptible for scratches, wear, and tear, which is to be considered as patina.

The polished finish should not be mistaken for a mirror-finish. True to the material, brushing and polishing lines will be visible on the product from certain angles.

TEST & SUSTAINABILITY

AVAILABILITY

EN 15372:2016 L1.

Available on all markets and Vipp.com.

Leather

The leather is aniline, meaning it is completely natural and untreated. For maintenance, please refer to the leather care instructions.

Solid wood

Wipe down oak products with a damp, soft cloth added a mild PH-neutral detergent. Avoid using sponges or similar coarse cloths for cleaning as this might leave scratches. After cleaning, wipe completely dry with a dry cloth. Do not use acidic cleaning agents as this will damage the surface and leave permanent stains. Make sure to remove spilt liquids immediately or it will leave stains. In case of permanent stains, please contact a professional for further instructions.
