f March was an exciting month, April is a happening one.

We attended Pet Fiesta and Millionairesisters Cat Carnivale. We organized a fund raising dinner for Animal Food Bank with The Leng Sisters, fully sponsored

by Wuff & Wok Bistro. I was invited by 猫狗OnAir, a podcast revolved around animal related topics under Ais Kacang to talk about how I

get myself into Animal Food Bank Malaysia. To say this month is happening is an understatement!

Utilizing the fund raised from AFB dinner and contributions by some of my friends, I managed to procure pet food. You can imagine my busy moment delivering pet food to the animal activists. This is indeed a very tiring task but the fact that we are filling up the stomach of starved

ot many who are active in cat competition and activities have not heard of his name.

Mr. Khalid Rashid, or more affectionately known as Pak Khalid by the people is the President of KKM Kelab Kucing Malaysia. If you have been to any cat show, competition, or cat events, you are sure to hear about him.

Pak Khalid’s association, Kelab Kucing Malaysia has always been supporting cat events and activities not

only to allow cat owners and lovers to meet and have fun together, but also to promote responsible pet ownership.

Being an animal lover himself, Pak Khalid has never let go of any chance to educate others about the importance of owning pets with love and responsibility.

As the President of KKM, Pak Khalid has always voiced out against animal cruelty. Pak Khalid is now the ambassador for Animal Food Bank to further help animals in Malaysia.

Animal Food Bank Fund Raising Dinner with

The Leng Sisters

he Leng Sisters, who have joined Animal Food Bank (AFB) Malaysia as ambassadors held a charity dinner to raise fund for AFB. The venue, Wuff & Wok Bistro was fully filled with participants in the fully booked event even though it was raining heavily.

Wuff & Wok Bistro has sponsored the venue and mouth-watering buffet. The proceeds from the night are fully donated to AFB. The participants had a great time during the fund raising dinner; not only were they treated with delicious buffet accompanied by Leng Yein and Leng Sean, they

were also well-entertained by the resident Huskies and Alaskan Malamute in the restaurant.

The warmth filled charity dinner lasted for 3 hours, with everyone leaving with a full heart and also a full tummy. Not only can the participants meet and greet the Leng Sisters, they were also able to make the world for hungry animals slightly better. Thanks to the great support from the public and the kindness of AFB ambassadors Animal Food Bank has raised a total of RM 1305. The proceeds will be used by AFBank to procure food to feed the needy animals.

Cat Carnivale

T

his was an event like no other: The Millionairesisters Cat Carnivale is a cat event held by cat lovers, for cat lovers.

The event was held in Utropolis Marketplace Glenmarie, and has attracted visitors near and far.

Organised by Perdana Cattery, the event featured many activities such as lifestyle talk, grooming show, nutrition chat, lucky draw, and last but not least, The CFA Cat Show, which was judged by 6 judges from 4 different countries. �KITTY GLORY:

The CFA Cat Show was not stingy when it comes to giving award ribbons.

Pet Fiesta 2018: WORLD TOUR

t is bigger than ever: Pet Fiesta is back again for the thousands of pets and pet owners! It was held for three days from 13 to 15 April in Setia City Convention Centre.

This year, Pet Fiesta brought us for a world tour with its fun and activities filled event.

It wasn’t just about the showcase of the many brands around the world, there were also lots of activities such as the huge MKA FCI Asia & Pacific Dog Show, grooming competition, FIFE KKM Cat Show, and many more.

There was even a mini petting zoo for everyone to enjoy!
