UGC Guidelines For Online Degree Offering Universities The UGC has issued guidelines for the benefit of university students.

The UGC made norms regarding higher education. The guidelines are designed for the new academic year, followed by universities this year. The respective guidelines are mentioned below.

The e-content or e-lessons of the universities should be accessed with an "open access link" on the universities' websites. This was initiated to help students of other universities benefit from the content.

The universities must be directed to ensure that the teachers have proper communication skills to interact with the parents or guardians of the students from July 13 to August 3. The UGC also mentioned September 15 would be the last day for admission of all the students in all Degree courses. For the students opting for Postgraduate programs, the admission process to start on October 31 is completely digitised.

The online classes will start on August 4. For the students who are admitted to the first year of the undergraduate degree course, the classes will start on October 1. The Master's degree classes will begin on November 1.
