Healing Hearts Performance information and triggers warning flyer.

Healing Hearts Information sheet and trigger warning note: Welcome on Healing Hearts – experimental and socially engaged performance in which you will have an opportunity to act together with the character.

Healing Heart is a journey through stages of narcissistic abuse cycle: Idealisation, devaluation, discard, and re-engagement, which appears most commonly in domestic environment.

Performance refers to both: Narcissism as personality disorder (defined in DSM classification) and to personalities developing narcissistic traits (have narcissistic shadow of personality).

Our journey includes 4 stations. In each station, 4 participants willing to take part receive instructional text from character.

Instructional texts are prepared in envelops to engage audience eager to play the scene.

Instructional texts contain simple instructions which participant after receiving it from character acting step by step without knowing what other participants do! All together with character we will create short (20-30 seconds) theatrical scenes which create a symbolic representation connect with the topic.

Healing hearts journey aim to support healing, however due its content it may evoke uncomfortable emotions and feelings. If you feel sensitive with the topic or feel not ready yet to get through this journey, please feel free to stay in black room – there will be relaxing projection prepare for you. If during our journey you would feel vulnerable or offended, please feel free to leave the station and return to black room the same way we come.
