An address given by President Thomas S. Monson, then second counselor in the First Presidency, at a fireside for young women on 18 October 1987. President Monson offered a “code of conduct” of four elements:
You have a heritage; honor it.
You will meet sin; shun it.
You have the truth; live it.
You have a testimony; share it.
