From Rover Club Otago
I am writing to thank you and the other organisers of the Oamaru All British Day.
We had four cars with nine people from the Rover Car Club of Otago attend the rally and I heard nothing but positive feedback from everyone. The events organised for Sunday were the icing on the cake of a great weekend.
Please pass on our club's gratitude to the NOVCC as well.
We look forward to attending again in the future.
Regards Ray
PS WANTED
If you know of anyone up your way who has parts for a Rover P5B, I am keen to hear from them as I am looking for a number of parts for my 1970 P5B Coupe restoration. Ph 027 270 8785.
note that even 29 years later the enthusiasm is still as good as ever. We had 80 vehicles take part some from Ashburton, Dunedin and as far away as the West Coast. The featured make this year was Rover of which there were 13 entries, the best of these being:-
Geoff Cunningham Beynun with a 2003 Rover 75 Tourer from Timaru, Chris Bowles with a 1968 Rover 2000 TC, Ashburton and Ross Brown with a 1977 Range Rover, Waimate
All the vehicles were away by about 11.30am. The run took entrants through the beautiful North Otago countryside and took about an hour ending up at Weston Hall for a packed lunch and prize giving. We hope the day was enjoyable for everyone and we believe our organisers did a brilliant job to make it so. Next year being our thirtieth run we will make it an extra special occasion.
Thank you to Earnest and his team for doing an exceptional job this year. We hope to see you all again next year, thank you.

Golden Times Vintage Car Rally
Saturday 26th April 2025 Arrowtown
The Central Otago Vintage Car Club extend a cardinal invitation to join us as a part of the famous Arrowtown Autumn festival.
Since inception in 1986 our rally has focused on a strong social emphasis, a relaxed atmosphere and sharing the world-famous scenery as we motor around the district
The rally committee are keen to bring back the “flavours” of past events with as many early Veteran and Vintage cars as possible but recognizing that all club eligible vehicles are most welcome.
This year the whole event will be held within the district including lunch, show and shine as well as prize giving at the beautiful Butlers Green.
Full program and entry form attached.
