Hi. Everyone.
Being a busy time with everything going on. The Homestead Run, a great turn out of club members. Nice to see the owners there to welcome us. Great talk about the history of the place. A tour of the place was very impressive, followed with an afternoon tea. They make their own chocolates on site. Very nice to enjoy. I bought Brenda a Chocolate Rose which brought a smile to her. LOL.
The combined run with Whitestone Hot Rod Club was a good time for everyone. The numbers were down on both sides, but those who came enjoyed themselves. We had a run around the area of approx. 60kms finishing with a drink and afternoon tea. Thanks to everyone who came along, look forward to getting together soon.
Members are travelling to other branches rally’s, which is good to see, one advantage is going to others branches rally is to see different things and places and catching up on friends. New and old.
Club Captain Ernest George.

Combined Rally with Hotrod club

The Homestead run to Teschmakers.
Although it was officially the first week of autumn the summer weather was still with us.
The run was also joined by several Whitestone Rodders, with over 53 people attending in all. The run started from the club rooms and went through the beautiful North Otago country side ending up at Teschmakers for afternoon tea. The current owners, our hosts, were very welcoming and gave us a tour of the buildings along with a history commentary. The chocolate preparation kitchen was very interesting and the range of chocolates was very exotic and appetising. A great spread was put out for afternoon tea which was enjoyed by all.
Our thanks to Ernest and his team for a very enjoyable day out.
