General Manager of Vintae
At Vintae we consider that wine is much more than a delicious drink that fills tables with joy and friendship. It is also a way to travel, to discover the history, culture, landscape and traditions of a place. A philosophy that has guided each of the wines produced by our wineries in Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Toro, and Navarra, as well as all of our little ventures in other northern Spanish regions, for more than a decade.
In these pages, you will discover the fruit of the work and dreams of a group of wine enthusiasts, the Vintae family, who strive every day to spread our enthusiasm
and love for wine from its most human and enjoyable perspective to more and more people. Because drinking wine should not be a complex and serious ceremony, but rather a festive journey for the senses. Therefore, we promise to continue on our quest to make the wonderful world of wine a territory open to anyone who wants to discover it. Because if we were to stop dreaming we would not be Vintae.
Long live wine and good people!
"AT VINTAE WE KNOW THAT EACH REGION HAS ITS OWN WAY OF HONORING WINE, THAT'S WHY WE LIKE TO RESPECT THE SOUL OF EACH OF OUR VINEYARDS AND TRUST THE WINEGROWERS FROM EACH PLACE."
8.
Although the search for the best vineyards has sometimes led us afar, at Vintae we have never stopped looking at our land. So we wanted to pay homage to it with a winery to elaborate wine to make us proud of our roots.
The place chosen was San Vicente de la Sonsierra, in the heart of La Rioja Alta, the birthplace of the Rioja wine growing tradition on the Golden Mile of the Tempranillo varietal.
All the wines from Bodega Hacienda López de Haro share something in common: a grape from the best winegrowing areas of the D.O.Ca. Rioja, the dedication with which our winegrowers work the vineyard and the love that our winemakers put into the crafting of each wine.
Rioja was the first Designation of Origin in Spain and also the first to obtain the Qualified category.

Hacienda López de Haro is located on a hill in the historic town of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, surrounded by centuries-old vineyards and sheltered by the Sierra del Toloño. There, thanks to its special climatic characteristics, its orography and its soils, are the best old Tempranillo vineyards with which the new Rioja classics are made.
Because to be a classic it is not necessary to be hundreds of years old nor come from high lineage, but rather to breathe that magic of something well done, crafted with care and passion. That is why the new Rioja classic is a wine that leaves the winery in the quest of being thrilling and being enjoyed.
Technical advances and sustainability are at the service of the artisan elaboration, always with the maximum respect for the tradition.

Reservas reds, whites and rosés, elaborated during vintages when the wine provides exceptional fruit intended to be used in great wines.
Wines that, in some instances, have been aging for decades, surrounded by the passage of time. Despite their longevity, the profile of these “grandes reservas” respects the philosophy of the winery to create contemporary classics, with aging over long periods in new and used oak that give prominence equally to the fruit aromas and those of the oak. The outcome is distinguished by its elegance and its positive evolution in complexity, which has brought it close to its maximum

Viñedos El Pacto is a return to the origins to prevent true village wines from becoming extinct. This pact of gratitude is born in the heart of Rioja, in the Sonsierra and the Alto Najerilla, uniting past and present to ensure the future.
El Pacto is an expression of respect for the earth and biodiversity of the vineyard. A project that claims the restoration of naturalness, of environmental observation, of work that respects the life cycles, of resurrecting the wisdom of individuals who know their vines to the millimeter.
The work varies from maintaining vegetation cover to pruning in accordance with natural cycles, and the very limited use of treatments, always suited to organic farming. As a result, these old vineyards produce singular wines that reflect the unique personality of their vines.
vinedoselpacto.es
The production philosophy of Viñedos El Pacto is craftsmanship. The hand of man acts the least to go unnoticed in the seven wines that make up the collection. El Pacto del Alto Najerilla and El Pacto de la Sonsierra rediscover the authenticity of the village wines from these two areas, which have long been associated with viticulture.
Riojanda and Valdechuecas are the two wines from “Singular Vineyards", cataloged by the Ministry of Agriculture for being unique places, which must prove their peculiarity. Two extraordinary places where the terroir takes center stage.
By mixing almost equal amounts of red and white grapes, Ojo Gallo revives the method of elaboration that was once used in several wine-growing regions of Alto Najerilla.
Jesús Acha, the most unique wines of the collection, are an homage to the father of Raúl Acha, our Technical Director. Raúl has chosen the best grapes from his father's favourite vineyards in his hometown of Cárdenas in order to produced it.

San Millán de la Cogolla has been a site of profound sanctity for centuries. Pandemonium, a sparkling wine crafted for the faithful and the profane, emerges from the depths of this mythical location where vice and virtue cohabit in harmony.
Pandemonium is a gateway to the unknown and the new benchmark for sparkling wines in Spain.
The altitude at which the vineyards are located in this area of Alto Najerilla makes them the freshest in La Rioja for making sparkling wines. pandemonium.wine
To advance in the world of wine, it is often necessary to look to the past. And one of the best places to do it is delving into the books and ancient manuscripts of the San Millán Library of the Yuso Monastery, in La Rioja. A magical place that hides countless secrets and treasures. On its shelves are the first words written in the Spanish language and the oldest known texts on viticulture.
Writings of incalculable worth that have inspired us to bring life back to these forgotten hillsides of Alto Najerilla, once covered in vineyards, and that now provide us again with a unique setting for the production of sparkling wines. Due to the region's harsh climate, privileged soils, and high altitude, we are able to produce two sparkling wines of the "crisp" type, with a particular freshness and acidity that is impossible to replicate in any other part of our country.

The wines of Bodegas Bardos are born at almost a thousand meters above sea level, in the moors of Burgos and Soria, where the climate is extreme and the coolest vineyards of the denomination are found. Two unknown regions with a history linked to wine for centuries.
The Ribera del Duero extends through the four provinces of Castilla y León: Valladolid, Segovia, Soria and Burgos.

Only the strongest vineyards are capable of surviving in the Páramo de Corcos (Burgos) and in the San Esteban de Gormaz region of Soria. Two small plateaus where climatic conditions are extreme throughout the year. This resistance capacity limits their productivity, which, combined with the specific qualities of the soils and the good aeration of the vines, makes this grape the most prized in the entire denomination.
Both in the Burgos village of Moradillo de Roa and in the Sorian towns of Alcubilla de Avellaneda and Villálvaro, the vineyards of Bodegas Bardos are located almost a thousand meters above sea level. In addition to the altitude, both regions share a high percentage of old vineyards
that have been preserved and a centuries-old tradition that has made wine their way of life. The best proof of this are their historic wine cellars, witnesses of this shared history and the importance that this crop has had in the economy of these towns.

The Bardos Project is an initiative arising from the collaboration between Bodegas Bardos and FADEMUR, the Federation of Women’s Associations in Rural Areas, aimed at supporting different female entrepreneurship projects in rural areas. Each year, a percentage of the sale proceeds from the collection are donated to financing the most interesting rural initiative and among all the participants. A boast for the winner to make her project a reality.
This collaboration is intended to promote and support different innovative projects in rural areas, which have a social, territorial and environmental impact.

The vineyards, certified as organic, are located in the Valle del Yerri area, coexisting with the native fauna of the region. They are fresh vineyards, thanks to their proximity to the Pyrenees and the Bay of Biscay, which gives a strong Atlantic character to the Mediterranean climate. Since they were planted, Le Naturel's
vineyards have been treated without chemical products, they only receive traditional treatments such as copper and sulfur at very low concentration levels.

Until very recently, the vineyard where Lakar comes from was practically doomed to die. A half-abandoned vineyard as a result of the excessive production costs required to continue sustaining it. But at Le Naturel we immediately realized its potential and decided to commit everything to it to rescue it from its fate. An organic vineyard since its plantation, it has been cultivated manually and organically using totally natural practices. A treasure of just one hectare where the rhythms of nature are always respected. This Pet Nat (“pétillant natural”) is the first sparkling wine from Aroa Bodegas. It is made using the ancestral method, in other words, ending the fermentation in the bottle and without a second fermentation or disgorgement, the most traditional way of capturing bubbles in a bottle. Following Le Naturel’s philosophy, no sulfites or any other ingredients are added. Uncorking it takes us to the moment when the freshly cut grape arrives at the winery. Le Naturel Pet Nat is a sparkling wine with very good acidity and a fine, well-integrated bubble, which smells and tastes of pure grape harvest.

"GARNACHA LOVERS"
From Rioja to Catalonia, passing through Navarra and Aragón, there are small old vineyards waiting to be rediscovered to offer us unique wine.
proyectogarnachas.com
A tribute by Vintae to a variety for which we feel devotion.
Proyecto Garnachas is a journey along the history of Garnacha through the eyes of Raúl Acha, our winemaker and passionate advocate of a variety that has historically been maligned for its complicated viticulture.
To prove their relevance, Raúl decides to look for old Garnacha vineyards on a journey through the Ebro basin. On his way he finds some of the vineyards that best reflect the essence of this variety, from Rioja to Catalonia, passing through Navarra and Aragon.
The result is a collection of monovarietal wines capable of expressing the versatility, nuances and singularities of each winemaking area.

Raúl Acha, the sixth generation of a Rioja winemaking family from Cárdenas (La Rioja), saw from a very young age that the grapes from the old Garnacho vineyard that his great-grandfather planted in 1906 were the ones kept at home to make the best wines. Perhaps that is why he developed a true devotion to a variety, which he fiercely defended every time his father, tired of low productivity and the care that the vines demanded, threatened to uproot.
That old Garnacho was the one that inspired Raúl and Vintae to undertake this adventure through the Ebro basin and to highlight the value of the Garnacha grape.
Every year I get my family together to select grapes grain by grain from our century-old vineyard in Cárdenas, in La Rioja."
